Skymen Ultrasonic Silver Jewelry Cleaner for Diamond Ring, Eyeglass, Denture, Watch Belt, Retainer Cleaner Sonic Cleaning Machine with Digital Timer 600ml

I purchased this machine to help my Dr. Husband get his eyeglasses cleaned but “what a BIG disappointment “ it was! I tried it with water like the instructions said...Nothing! Every finger print & smug that was on the lens to begin with were still on after coming out of the machine, so I purchased jewelry cleaner for a sonic machine, which was almost impossible to find unless you needed a gallon jug. The cleaner arrived this AM. Put my glasses in, frameless, with just a few smudges on them & again, even with the cleaner, not any cleaner than when I put in...Bummer! I was really hoping this would be the answer to my daily frustration with dirty lens! Also, since it took me so long to find cleaner, I missed my window for a return, now I am stuck with a useless machine that I don’t want ☹️. If anyone else has purchased this machine & can give me advice on how to improve the cleaning process, please let me know. ( maybe the manufacturer could also help me out! I gave it 4 Stars for cleaning because I only used it twice & is almost brand new.. easy to use, DEFINITELY NOT!

I have only used it one time. I bought it to clean my rings. I have been using water, a little ammonia and a drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid, but I read somewhere that the ammonia could be damaging to my diamonds. I saw the Ultrasonic cleaner and thought I would try it. My rings sure did not sparkle like I was hoping they would after using the Ultrasonic Cleaner. I was very disappointed. So I haven't used it again. It is just sitting in my way now. Is it suppose to make my diamonds sparkle or is this just something I was hoping for and this machine is not going to make it happen. Do I need to try it again or just throw it away?

I haven't tried with any chemicals yet but it did clean without any.

I like the size and the price, but need to try it out on more items to get a better idea of how it works. Instructions not vere explicit.

This is the best jewelry cleaner I have owned. It does a fantastic job. I just fill the basin almost to top with distilled water, add 1/4 c ammonia and a squirt of dishwashing liquid. Works wonders!
