Higher than average quality, one minor gripe.
Just received these, haven't installed yet but it's already clear that these are high quality posts. Only one minor flaw, but I'm going to order another set immediately to see if it's the same.In the 1st picture they're compared to the posts from a popular and cheap 90pc set. Considering the number of pieces you get in the cheap set, it's not a total waste. But seeing how inferior they are to these white posts makes me not want to use them in anything permanent or high powered. I'll keep the cheap ones around for playing with, but the bench supplies I'm making will have these Oiyagai posts. The visible differences are obvious - the Oiyagais are much thicker and have more robust hardware. No sketchy plastic threads to worry about stripping. I was amazed how much heavier they felt, so I weighed them on a digital scale and they are twice as heavy: 12.1 grams compared to 5.9 grams for the cheap ones. The 4mm jack is deeper as well, as pictured with the red posts. The cheap ones are about 12mm deep, which leaves about 8mm of the plug exposed. The Oiyagai jacks are about 20mm deep, and can accept the entire plug down to the shoulder.Lastly, the main reason I chose these also ended up being the only flaw. I happen to love white (my pc case and peripherals are all white), so I was really excited when I found these. Electronic components are so purely utilitarian, you rarely see much thought put into aesthetics. These are actually off-white, which is fine, but upon closer inspection I noticed that there are 2 different off-whites. The yellow and black are more grey, while the rest are more antique/bone white. This is a bit disappointing, especially for someone who's a bit OCD like myself. It will be difficult for me to install both colors on the same device without being annoyed every time I look at it.It's a minor concern, and I'm going to get more to see if it's the same mix. But the color is the one thing that sets these apart from the rest, so it's pretty disappointing that it's not consistent. I mean it's only 5 pieces. We can't scrape together 5 of the same color? FFS...

Exceeded my expectations, I would buy again
Considering the price point, this is a very good value for money and quality.Few key points.... The screw top part unscrews quite far, meaning it can clamp onto thick wires and cables. Plus, there is a good metal contact on both top and bottom. This is actually very important. Some cheap stuff I have has contact on only one side, and if I torque it down, the metal contact reseeds into it's plastic casing, causing contact with wire be intermittent. This one has nice thick metal contact on both sides.Only negative I see is there is no hole drilled horizontally so I can just "stick" a wire through and lightly clamp it. I could also mention pieces feel loose, but again, given the price point, that can be forgiven. Good binding posts are pretty darn expensive. (I have a few of that, too)Yes, I'd buy again.

Nice looking
These look nice, strudy and seem to be well built. My one wish is that you could buy these in an 8 pack with a black post to go with each of the four colored posts (Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue). These look to be able to handle reasonable high current and look to be high quality. I will be using these in a bench power supply project once I can locate similar looking black posts. Some of the other brands that are out there look like crap they look cheesy.

Caution! - There is NO HOLE in the bolt to insert a bare wire. These are 4-WAY binding posts, not 5!
Not a 5-way binding post -- I have never encountered a '4-way' binding post before and I didn't notice the missing hole in the illustrations. If I had I wouldn't have purchased these because I use that attachment method frequently. You could still wrap a bare wire around the base of the binding post, then tighten, but that isn't very convenient. I suggest looking elsewhere for a standard 5-WAY binding post. Perhaps the missing hole relates to the high current rating? The description should really mention the absent hole.

Best binding posts yet
These are extremely well made, I have purchased nearly a hundred binding posts from Amazon and most in packs of 20+ or 10. Those other combo packs are cheaper so you may be more inclined to buy the cheap binding posts because you get more. But these are well worth the price after comparing them to the cheap-o binding posts I’ve used in the past. Top notch! One thing I’d recommend is adding a hole in the binding post screw so you can fish a wire through, other than that (which really isn’t a big deal) I’d definitely buy these again and recommend to anyone.

Nice binding posts
It's great to be able to get the binding posts quickly. The quality is very good, and the price is fair.

Two different products/batches mixed in one bag
Quality is good but as the previous reviewer mentioned, two of them are light grey, three are ivory. It is not just slightly different, it is a completely different color, washers are a bit different, they simply mixed two different products/batches into one bag.If you do not care about the color at all, go for it, otherwise, stay away. I'm returning mine.

does not fit breadboard
Posts are too large to fit in the power holes in a standard solderable breadboard.
