Nearly perfect keychain light with very floody beam.....
Summary: Powerful (~130 lumen) keychain light with a floody beam and Ti case, compares favorably with MecArmy X4SI'm in the enviable position of being able to compare 2 excellent keychain lights. The Klarus Mini One Ti and the MecArmy X4S.The 2 lights are nearly identical in size, but the Klarus has a Ti body while the MecArmy is aluminum. Because the Klarus isn't machined with thinner walls, etc, it actually ends up being slightly heavier at 16 grams - the X4S is 14 grams. Both lights have on-board USB charging through micro-USB - the head stays on while charging. Function is the same - tighten until the light comes on, then tighten another 1/2 turn to get to high. The 1st major difference is the body material. While the Ti body is actually heavier, where it will make a big difference is in long term appearance and durability. I used to have a black anodized Maglight Solitaire on my keychain, and after about 5 years, well, it wasn't black and it had a ton of scratches and gouges where the keys had been dropped onto pavement. That should have a lot less affect on the Mini One Ti.The other big difference is in the beam pattern. The Mini One Ti has a very floody beam, while the X4S has more of a traditional beam. For a keychain, it's hard to say which is better. I find that I've used my keychain light most often in trying to find something on the ground in the dark, or in looking through cabinets at garage or estate sales. In those instances, a floody light is best. It's hard to get an accurate comparison of the output, given how different the beams are, but using a ceiling bounce technique measured with a lightmeter, the X4S slightly edged out the Mini One Ti (145 vs 14 lux measured)

Not bad but you can do much better
I love flashlights, but not this one.On the positive side, it's small, and light output is good. Also, the free USB light that came with it is very bright and useful.However...Because the light while short is not that thin - think the same circumference as a man's second finger - it doesn't have the small profile in a jeans pocket I was hoping for. I also find the amount of twist required to turn on and up annoying. And lastly - it just died after four months.I'd urge anyone interested in this light to think about the excellent Nitecore Tini - which is (on high) nearly three times brighter, thinner in the pocket and has much better controls. I also tend to think it put out a more neutral white light. It's also worth looking at the Olight I1R EOS 130, which is a similar design to the Klarus but smaller, slightly less expensive and better working.

Bright tiny rechargeable keychain flashlight - but a short honeymoon period until gimpy.
When the switch buttons started getting too sensitive on my plastic and rubber NightCore and it was turning on in my pocket and running out the battery I switched to this tiny metal Klarus Mini One flashlight because it looked beefy enough to withstand the tough keychain environment. When it first arrived I loved the bright light, small size, good looks, and decent battery life. At the one month and even the five month mark I would have given it five stars. However, over time, like most of these screw-to-turn-on LED flashlights the screw switch gets gimpy with wear. The light's activation gets finicky with flicker near the on-/off point when operating the switch by turning. As metal wear loosens the threads it will get worse and eventually I'll end up putting silicon tape on it. I give it's total lifespan a year. I'll be going back to NightCore's button models (even though they sometimes turn on in your pocket. At least they reliably turn on with a steady beam when you need them. There doesn't seem to be a perfect solution - but this isn't really tolerable after the honeymoon period ends. Might be ideal for a use case where it doesn't get used much?

Too soon but so far love it
So far I love the light. Only had for a few days so it is difficult to do an accurate review, just responding to the email request for a review. The only thing I am not sure about and why it isn't a 5 star review, is the front lens piece. This is what you turn the light on and off with and come all the way up to access the charging port. How well will the threading last and will it either turn on accidentally or open all the way exposing the charging port while the light is on a key chain or in your pocket? It hasn't yet but again, I have only had it less than a week.

Not a very good item considering the cons
Pros: Flashlight feels sturdy and is very bright. Price is in line with similar mini flashlights.Cons: The off/low/high settings are finicky. If you don’t turn it enough, or turn it too much, the light will flicker constantly or not work at all. The battery life isn’t great. The included USB light is bright, but pretty worthless.Overall, I’d probably go with something else.

very bright for its size but not as waterproof as advertised
I wear it around my neck on a titanium chain. If it's water proof to 2 meters ( 6.1 ft. ) you should be able to wear it in a pool and shower ??? Maybe KLARUS should be more specific .. Otherwise it is a great light ..... I also have a XT12GT which is an amazing light .... They make great lights but the company is hard to communicate with ( Chinese ? )

Won't charge
This particular one I got won't charge. I started it's first charge when I left for work and the red light is still on when I got home. Tried a different cable and made sure the battery is installed in the correct direction but I've still got no charge. I'm not sure I want to buy a new battery to test with since this is brand new.. probably will return it. Disappointing
