So far this modem is working well for us, ...
So far this modem is working well for us, and just in case you're wondering it works well as a third party modem with Time Warner Cable.

5 stars for it's price to performance ratio. Not for router+wireless function. Not for novice.
So cheap I bought two! Works on Time Warner Cable. Will not work for business accounts though as those have to be sold by the cable company. At home though it's a champ... With that said, the wireless is worthless, assume you'll disable it immediately. I also had to do a bunch of googling to disable the NAT/DHCP so it'd only be a standalone modem. However once that was done and it's plugged into a nice stand alone router+wifi device it's a dream. Super reliable as a standalone modem, not too great if you want it as an all in one.

So far, so good!
So far, so good. I bought this to replace the one my cable company was charging me $10 a month for. I top of that, if you want the wireless, it's $5 more a month.I use it and it's great. Had some issues connecting the wireless which were on the cable company's end entirely. They copied the settings to block the wireless like I had on their unit. I finally got them to look and they realized I was right.I'll keep my old wireless router as backup but could've saved $150 on that.

Good if you like to change modem settings frequently
Well, so I thought, why rent a modem from Time Warner? In a moment of lucidity, the idea struck me--just buy the very one I'm renting from them. Perhaps only cable companies buy them, because this one had no instructions for software set up. Long call to cable people in the Philippines or somewhere and they walked me thru it, but ALWAYS reminding me they do not support modems that are not their own. Even though this is the same modem. That aside, every time the electric or cable goes out, one has to get on the Ubee site, resent wireless to factory default, then reset again to your own network name and password. Of course, you could use the factory default, and then spend the next 10 years changing every internet linked object in your house--tv, computers, phones, laptops, tablets--fretfully hoping they will work. Then you have one more set of id/password combinations to remember, along with banks, credit cards, websites--you get the idea. Does it work better or as well? Can't really tell any difference, since movies buffer and Netflix/Amazon blame the cable companies. And guess who the cable companies blame?

good
It is not bad. It does the job for the most part. Quite often I get no wireless detected on my laptop. I have to disconnect and reconnect and then I am back on. It is worth the money and beats paying rent to Brighthouse.
