For the price it seems to be great
Tested — I have a ARO $1200 —& this happy buy-is putting out the same performance at this time — not sure how long it’s going to last though very happy with the purchase & just ordered 2 more & please note: I am using a half inch hose & reducing to a small tip for maximum height in spray chemicals inside of a ship & reaching about 42 feet…

Mystery foreign debris ... Kind of good... we'll see how it lasts.
The media could not be loaded. Poly 1 inch pumpWe use dayton, aro, and wilden pumps - whichever we can get cheapest used, and usually just swap out the diaphragms and they're good to go. I thought I'd give this mystery pump a try.I don't know what the diaphragm material is. Santoprene is a proprietary blend by Exxon, and I don't think it's santoprene. 100% guessing, I would say ptfe (the white part) with some rubber, maybe neoprene, backing. Time will tell. And if some mild chemicals I feed it react. The balls were also a simple white plastic. Lots of this blue rubber used on o-rings/gaskets. Probably same as whats behind the white diaphragmI originally disassembled it out of curiosity on the diaphragm, but mine had a mysterious RUSTY WIRE in it. I lost the picture I took of it, but it would have certainly caused FAILURE. The diaphragm had some weird rusty powder on both sides. I did not put the rusty wire in there. Rust is common in my business, but I really have no idea. I'm assuming it was the manufacturer, but nobody is that stupid, right? If you don't want a flood, check for operation (1) dry with some air, (2) wet partially submerged BEFORE you put those flanges on ANYTHING.Oh, I was also hoping the flanges were combo 1" fpt & flange. Nope, flange only. Buy some flanges.I'll come back in 6-12 months. I'm using it to pump dilute nitric acid at 130 - 160 F with some grit in it to a treatment tank. Yes, the Wilden pump we used for this was max 150 F too... oh well. Wilden made it about 15 years with repairs every 5 or so. If this sucker makes it a year (for 1/4 the price of Wilden), I'm ecstatic. If it makes it 3 years, our warehouse will become the HappyBuy Hub. I'm happy to throw a torn diaphragm pump in the trash instead of the 4 hour repair session, of which 1/3 is safely removing and reinstalling the pump, and is usually doubled when a seal gets a grain of sand in it. Then it's an all day affair. Of pain and suffering. Thats enough rambling for now.NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: please tell us the real material of construction; diaphragm and backup diaphragm, as well as check balls. I don't think it's actually Santoprene...I'll update in a few months on its performance. Ran for an hour today as a test.EDIT 3/4/2019: Still running strong. Feeds 160 F dilute (<3%) used phosphoric acid, outlet is 5-10 psi.

Not as advertised.
This pump is advertised as 72 GPM. Happybuy literature states that this pump has a MAXIMUM flow rate of 7 m3/h which is 30 GPM and not 72 GPM. Moving contaminated water with minimal head, this pump is only moving 5 GPM. Buyer beware.
