Genuine Czech, Etched, Crystal Glass, Black, Medium, (5.5") Nail File

I really like this crystal emery board. It works well, it is supposed to be better for your nails, and it is a little quieter/less aggressive than a traditional sandpaper style emery boards. I gave my mom and sister a few of these emery boards as stocking stuffers. They both love them and now they refuse to use other emery boards. Be careful with it because it is made of glass. I haven't dropped mine yet and have had it for several years. The plastic case it comes in is pretty cheap but I use it because it provides another layer of protection.

I've had this file for nearly 8 years! The edges are wearing smooth but it still works. Not bad for a nail file.

I carry this file in my purse for my everyday file. It is good quality and files easily. I'd never go back to the old paper files or metal ones. The point is still a little thick giving it one star off the rating but don't let that deter anyone from buying a quality Czech file. My nails are fairly short and that is reason I like the thinner points better.

I've ordered a few of these, and the one I most recently received doesn't file as well as the others I've ordered. I'm sorry I broke the one that I was replacing.

Love this glass file. Since discovering this, I haven't gone back to using normal nail files. They're really efficient, filing down your nails faster and neater than a classic nail file. Mine only broke when I dropped it on a tile floor, and I immediately ordered another one. I love the ombre style (I got the one that fades from black to white and it's actually ombre). It comes in a nice sleeve which is good; it protects the file in case you have butterfingers and drop it on tile floors like me.

This is the first glass file I've used, so I can't really compare it to other glass files, but this one seems good. It comes in a little plastic sleeve that doesn't protect it much, but the file feels sturdy and mine hasn't broken, I keep it in my purse. I like the glass file much more than the sandpaper type I've been using before this one, and I think that if you haven't upgraded to a glass file from the paper type you definitely should. This file is great, I'm never going back to paper files again.

This gets clogged with nail dust too quickly. I've had several glass files, and at least this one didn't grind smooth like some of the other models. One side being more course might help. I'll be looking for a higher quality file.

I bought this file after realizing that I was doing as much damage as good with the metal files built into nail clippers. This file very quickly filed my finger nails. It left them feeling smooth, without burrs. It also did not scrape or cut my fingers where it touched my skin beside my nail.I can't speak to the durability of this product, as I've only had it for a couple days. It seems like it could easily break if dropped, so I will be keeping it in the provided plastic sleeve, in the cupboard.
