Sienoc New Car Cassette Tape Adapter Transmitters for MP3 IPOD Nano CD IPHONE Black

We bought this for the 60-odd hours of road trip we had to drive over the holidays. We used it to connect to my iPad, and to his Kindle Fire. It is... well, it mostly works. We discovered after a lot of fiddling that you have to turn down the volume on the device if you don't want the music terribly distorted. Even the best we could get it to sound, the bass comes through way too hard and everything else is muffled - listening to music felt like being underwater.It worked all right for the podcasts, though. Not much bass in those, though the people did sound like they all had colds.

Seems to be well put together but it did not work in my car. Regular cassette tapes play fine in my car but when connected to an external music player, the sound transmitted by this device was muffled and tinny....not sure if the one I received was bad or it's just not compatible with my car and/or audio devices but I had to return it.

It's the cheapest cassette adapter on Amazon. And it works pretty well. The cable is thin and will probably break someday, but it's super long which is nice. I have to turn my phone to about 75% volume for it to sound best, but that's totally fine.

Didn't work right out of the package. Was cheap enough that I didn't even bother trying to return; just bought one from a local radio shack instead

Too bad I can't put "No Star" as a review so I chose 1 star.Please pass your way, the tape adapter won't work in both of my cars (VW Passat and VW Eurovan). I am disappointed, I don't recommend this item to anyone.Now, I need to research an adapter that will work

It was exactly what i needed, now i can listen to music from my phone in the car.

Only worked for a about a week then stopped working.

Should have expected the poor sound quality given the price.
