I love the bike
I love the bike !! Its very versatile and light !! the only few problems I had was that my bike had a few scratches and it does get scratched easily. The bike came with a small bottle of black paint. I think it was for the scratches and I applied it on my bike but it only made it look worse so I removed the paint I applied and the scratches were less visible ! Another problem was that the wheels needed air inside but that was easy to fix with an air pump. beside the scratches and wheels the bike is perfect ! I'm 5'3 so I order the smallest size but the bike was still a little bit too big but it's still easy to ride.P.smake sure to take off the plastic off the logo in front of the bike- I highly recommend this bike !! my friend is getting the same one as me . cant wait to take it to school. Im going to buy pepper spray to stay away from criminals who want to steal my bike ! its now officially my little baby and i'm going to name it Willy.

Excellent Single-Speed Bike for Everyday Riding & Commuting
I've been riding a PUBLIC V1 mostly in San Francisco for over 2 years. The City is known for hills but in the most bicycle-friendly parts of the city, you can ride almost anywhere with just a single-speed. I can actually ride comfortably on my PUBLIC single-speed from the Ferry Building all the way to Ocean Beach and back. The single-speed is geared just fine to ride on flat or moderate inclined streets. The sturdy steel frame is perfect for absorbing any potholes or bumps on the road. I love having fenders and a chain guard to protect my clothes since I am a regular commuter and use my bike as my main mode of transportation.
