I started following Baltic-Day on Instagram a few months ago. When I saw them promoting their mica powders I was curious so I thought I'd give them a try. I've been dabbling with resin, which has now become an obsession with my art. I trucked on over to Amazon and bought their 24 pack. Their powders are very vivid. They even give you a little gold spoon, which I thought was a nice touch. When I began using mica powders I started with no name brand and compared the colors with the Baltic - Day and WOW, what a difference. I am posting some pics of some of my latest pieces. I don't have before and after pictures (Sorry), but you can at least see the what the results are when you use the powders.The table is a re-pour. It had bubbles in it from my first pour. (Literally the first pour I ever ) so I sanded it down and re-poured it with added a smidge of gold, and a tiny three oz cup of the brown with the rest of the pour being clear epoxy resin. It looks amazing!The Cheese board is a combo of colors. Red mica mixed with AI inks of Crimson and acrylic True red, grey mix with silver, black acrylic paint and white mica powder. A-FreakingMazing! And the Tray is a project that I am still working on but is All resin with Silver, Black, White and Gold Mica powders, mixed with resin. I bought these pigments back in May for some new resin pieces I was about to design. I’m an artist, so the quality of my materials is paramount. Since this was my very first time even attempting resin pieces, I knew I needed high quality pigments with lots of color that would stay suspended in the resin. I wasn’t disappointed!!!Holy moly, friends! The colors are absolutely beautiful and so vibrant! I can’t get over just how VIVID the colors are. I was so pleased with the pigments that I kept making more and more pieces! I made a small mess the first time I opened one of the bags because I’d forgotten that the powder was going to poof up in my face, but I was too excited to care.What I like the most about these pigments is that they truly stay incorporated in the resin and don’t sink to the bottom, so the integrity of the pieces you make remain intact.Buy them today, everyone! I've been working with Baltic Day for a little while now and really like the vibrancy of the colors in this series along with a larger quantity than other brands. Here are a few samples of the pigments used in epoxy as well as the final product in some skate decks. I'm really looking forward to the new series of pigments with lots more colors on offer and should be released in early 2019! Thanks for offering such a premium product at a great price!

I love the pigments. The colors are vibrant and present beautifully in resin. I anticipate buying again. There was a competitor I tried that had convenient clear plastic bottles for containers and I strongly preferred their packaging for convenience of use. The competitor labeled every pigment identically with only branding and without the pigment name on each individual container. If they had properly labeled their pigments I would continue to buy from them for the container value and no other reason. That said these pigments are top quality and they are labeled to allow me to repurchase and rely on the product to match my display samples. Buy these and know what you are getting.

These colors are gorgeous. I've tried them on their own and with resin dyes, they always mix well. I also haven't had any clumps of mica in my resin with these colors.

Small vials but pack a big punch. A little goes a long way for my polymer clay projects. I like the wide little flap feature, that way I can dip my brush right in to avoid any waste. I love the color assortment in this set (my favorite is the pearl)

I started Riverlux Tables and began my business by trying every type of product for every aspect of making high quality and long lasting epoxy furniture. When it came to coloring, I mixed multiple colors from five major brands. When the testing was complete it became obvious that Baltic Day was in a league of their own. The rich appearance of their color only intensified as the epoxy cured and their metallic shimmer didn’t settle to the bottom like almost every other brand. One thing is for sure, if you want to make the best furniture or epoxy art, you have to use the best pigments and with Baltic Day, you simply cannot lose.
