EXPENSIVE -- BUT GOOD QUALITY TOOL :
Certainly not worth the price, but these Pliers are a unique tool, for which you are paying a premium. Irwin Tools are well made, but the Pricing has gotten far too high recently. For Regular Tools I no longer buy Irwin because of their High Price, but for unique tools like these Pliers ----- I reluctantly accept the high prices. Their are so many Tool choices available, that you need to shop around. The HD Rigid Tool Brand is excellent --- for half the price of Irwin Products. It is also time all of us make a Concerted Effort To Buy Tools That Are MADE IN AMERICA !

Used
The tool itself is great though I received a used tool. I wasn’t looking to pay the price of a new tool and receive a used item. It was not advertised as used. I wouldn’t have purchased if it was advertised correctly.

Debris Removal
I bought these needle nose pliers to remove debris (e.g. hair) from the drain of our bathroom sinks. It works fine for this purpose. After the cover of the stopper is removed, the pliers are small enough pull hair from the sink.

Needs better quality control
The good is the pliers are well made and Irwin sprays a clear coat over it to prevent rust.The bad is it had small, small spider web of rust on the handle and on top of the plier jaw under the clear coat. I paid more than twice the price of cheaper brands and expect them in perfect condition.
