WLX-525E 5.25 Inch PC Dashboard Media Front Panel Audio, with SATA e-SATA Dual USB 3.0 6 Port USB 2.0 Five-in-one Card Reader (SD/MMC/CF/MS/TF / M2)

I was honestly unsure about this product when I first bought it. However all of its features work quite nicely. I never know how useful it would be to have a front panel SATA.The audio connector has reasonably good quality and doesn't draw too much interference (its better than the ones on most computer cases).Also, for bonus points everything on it works correctly in Linux.

It's nice having everything up front I use the USB ports a lot from charging to transfers. Easy to install in both CPU and all the hookups to the motherboard. Having Power and a SATA port makes testing other hard drives a breeze.-2 stars for Card Reader Indicator light blinds but it won't read form the Card Reader slots. Since I have a USB adapter for the one Sim card I use for my camera it's no big deal to me. So I'll give one star back..

Been using it for a while now and it works great for what I wanted it for. USB 3 and SATA with power both work great. I have not used th eSATA or card readers but that is not what I purchased this item for. I repair computer and wanted a convenient and fast access to my PC's SATA connections on the motherboard for data transfers and data recovery. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

The product is made of low-quality plastic with a single hole in the back where the cables protrude. Most of the ports on the front are mis-aligned with the plastic openings, so it's hard to insert any USB plug or media cards. The card readers are flimsy and cards move around in them. The CF card reader is unusable - cannot insert any CF cards in it. Not at all what I expected.

Audio is reversed, not good for one way headphones like iPhone earbuds since you can't flip them around, I'll need to use 3rd party software to flip the channels or re-wire the jack. And the headphone/mic jacks are "always plugged in" even if you don't have a headphone or mic actually plugged in. Not sure if that's actually an issue. It's a bummer because this could be the perfect device if they put a little more effort into the quality.

I bought this because the case I bought only had one open slot for a dvd rom. Since I don't use a dvd rom anymore this is what I chose. It actually has some great features. If you have a extra slot this is a great buy. I even use the compact flash port.

I purchased this device to use the SD and microSD slots. However, I had to unplug the cables that connect them as the drivers started crashing my PC (giving BOD). The card reader slots also won't allow me to use over one at a time. I haven't tested the quality of the mic port, but the fussy headphone jack goes mono unless you fiddle with it. All the USB ports seem to not be the same quality as the ones that came on my case. There are four more of the USB 2.0 ports than my case. Now that I bought a laptop that includes an SD slot I will use it instead of this device. I do not recommend this device. Update: U have completely stopped using this and have uninstalled the product... no more crashes...

Works like a champ, I have no issues with it. All ports on mine are functional as well as all card readers. Perfect for a case without front io or if you are in need of ports/card readers.

Ordered this May 24,2017. It was shipped May 26, 2017. And i received it June 7, 2017.I'll start off by saying this product is well built, comes with 4 installation screws, however it doesn't come with a cd to install anything or any drivers. Windows must automatically install them. I looked at this option because i bought a 3.5" media bay in my town but it was overpriced and broken upon unboxing it. ive been looking at this particular 5.25" media bay for a while and been seeing it on a variety of different places. with seemingly different wiring schemes on most of them. i chose this one because its wiring scheme scheme simple to install, which it was. Ontop of that it came with a step by step instruction with images to install it. The whole scene in buying these seems odd and not the most user friendly to research. As far as the card slots go, i haven't used them yet since i plan on buying a GoPro, and digital camera. The card slots looks properly aligned unlike the 3.5" i bought where they were not. The USB slots function well. Overall i am pleased with the product having found a media bay i am happy with and adds a lot of functionality to my PC. Would recommend this 5.25" bay to anyone looking for the same.

Después de comprarlo tuve mis dudas, porque ponía que era válido para Windows 7 y yo tengo el 10, pero tal como lo conecté funcionó, sin necesidad de instalar software ni nada. Cumple su función sin problema.Buena relación calidad precio.

works well, leads were alittle short for audio and usb as they had to strecth over a large graphics card, Re arranging soem drives solved the problem

Oggetto eccellente che fa il proprio dovere. Non do le 5 Stelle soltanto perché non capisco ancora se le due porte USB 3.0 funzionano come si deve oppure no. Due diversi hard disk esterni USB 3.0 è come se ricevessero troppa corrente o troppo poca

Ha sido fácil de conectar y funciona correctamente. Lo único que no he podido conectar son los puertos USB 3.0, pero por que mi placa base no trae la conexión.
