Bad shipping
Bad quality. I order my seeds and never received them. I tried to contact the company and had no luck. I would not recommend buying from them.

People saying they didn't sprout on bad reviews?
I have been growing dianthus for quite a few years. This collage is a picture of my own personal dianthus out of my own personal garden. However, dianthus is one of the plants I've never started from seedlings. As you can see from my pictures, they are doing just fine. I find it very hard to believe that somebody can purchase a pack of this many seeds, and not have a one sprout, I don't care what company you purchase them from. I don't want to sound ugly, but if you're not going to put in the effort it takes to grow seedlings then don't bother. You have to have proper moisture and warmth for initial germination,( I always use the Jiffy Domes. If your home doesn't have adequate lighting you need to provide plant lighting ( order those off Amazon too) and 3rd don't underwater and don't over water your seedlings. All I'm saying is please do your research on how to grow seedlings before you order them and then give a company a bad review because they didn't sprout. I have had nothing but good results from outside Pride seeds and this is proof. I have purchased from other seed companies on Amazon and have had the same results, it's a matter of knowing what you're doing.BTW, I like purchasing from someone within the USA and received these in a very timely manner.

Great seeds
Planted about 220 seeds and on the 5th day I had my first sprouts. After a week and a half, I have around 200 seedlings. I have eight of those trays shown in the pictures which have a total of 192 spaces. I have multiples growing in several spots. Seeds are so small I suggest using tweezers to pick them out and plant them. There is nothing wrong with these seeds, I believe the problem has been the the way others have planted them. Because seeds can be so delicate when planting and having to water and the dirt shifts, use something to plant them where you can draw water up from below. Also make sure you're in the right area to grow them.

Lovely
Planted these 2 years in a row and 1st year not a whole lot came up but what did grow was quite hearty as it survived our wild winter. Then this year I bought more and just threw them out there and it has really filled in. They're beautiful and smell amazing! Worth the wait!

Horrible germination rate
These seeds have a horrible germination rate. I planted 2 -72 cell trays with 3 seeds in a cell and I have 0 germination. I used another method of germination along with 2 other dianthus carnation varieties and they have germinated compared to very few of these seeds. The other seeds germinated much sooner also by a couple of days. I think they are selling old stock.Update: I have been able to get a better germination rate using a condiment cup with a moist piece of paper towel and lid. They are a bit slow to germinate but I’ve had better luck this way.
