I didn't realise I had a bad problem with incredibly high phosphates in my aquarium until I bought a test kit, after suffering a massive algal infestation for the first time in many years. I had to treat the water 3 times for the phosphates to be low enough to be able to read the test kit result! After a large water change I put one of these pouches in my Juwel Internal Filter ( 1500 lt/hr ). For 3 weeks my phosphates have barely registered. Package claims should last about 2 months, so I am keen to find out if it does.

You can recharge it with a solution of bleach and water…… so no need ever to replace it

The media could not be loaded. I've got this to try reduce diatoms in my tank. Rinsed it well as per instructions and added to the canister filter. Well it changed the water velocity within minutes so much that that I had to drain the whole 200L tank as fish were gasping and struggling to swim. Video attached to show the state of water. You can tell by the bubbles. Really disappointed.

Good product that does what it says . I will continue to use it.

Api Phos Zorb is for getting rid of phosphate in the tank water . We have always had a problem with this, and this product solves it for us . We leave it in the external filter all the time and replace it when the levels start rising again.

Does nothing. And the amount of dust come out when handling was crazy, not healthy to breath. Been washing it for 5 mins and still whole aquarium turned to milk. Although went a way still 1mnt later still leaks dust when handling. Absolutely terrible product
