Dangerous. The screws come loose constantly tightening. Therefore it becomes unstable and dangerous. The whistle and pourer came away, so couldn’t pour the hot water. Please do not buy this product.

Excellent kettle

The total volume may be 3.5 litres ,but the most you can boil is 2.2 litres ,which takes about 10mins to boil on a gas hob.Anymore water than this prevents whistling and boils up out the spout.Having said all that i don't need to boil that much water so it not being able to boil 3.5 litres is not an issue . It has a wide base and so boils quick enough for my needs (half a pot of tea ).
