Women Soft Striped Beach Slip Dress Loose Party Casual Sundress Mini Dress (L)

I am 5'5" tall, weigh 188 pounds, most of it in my belly, butt, and thighs. I normally wear a size 16 US or XL. I purchased this dress with black and white stripes in XXL due to reviews stating to size up. Sizing up was not necessary for me as the XXL is way too big. XL would have fit perfectly and a little loose, and I may have been able to wear an L, but it may have been tight around my big bottom. Order true to your normal size.Other than being too big, the dress is not black and white stripes. The "black" stripes are actually navy blue.The dress was very comfortable and I wore it as a swimsuit cover up, but it was too big to wear as a dress out to dinner or around town. The material dries very quickly if it gets wet.The top of the dress is loosly-lined around the bust and upper back, but the dress material is thick enough that it was not sheer anywhere. Perfect modest cover-up dress for the beach, waterpark, or a cruise. Wish I had bought the right size, but I'm keeping it because it was comfortable and usable as a swimsuit cover up.Item arrived in about 2 weeks and had a musty smell that washed right out. One star lost only because the stripes are not black.

It’s blue striped and not a cotten blend at all. It’s shiny material and looks super cheap. Also I got a small and it’s HUGE !! Usually Asian sizes mean small which I like and this is not the case at all. Really disappointed because the picture is so cute but that’s not this dress :(

Super cute, fits well. The straps are super thin, so I’m not wearing it before my vacation because I’m scared they’ll rip. Other than that it’s great.

Was very excited to take this to the beach. I put it on and straightened the strap which immediately broke. Threw it in trash and had no coverup.

I am petite and the dress hung to low on me! I do like the dress.

Was good before the first wash, staps broke in the first wash.

It has the loose fit i was looking for. Love it.
