The tool came in a simple cardboard packing and well covered with plastic bag and shrink rapped a bit.What do you want in this price.The tool is 16 inches long in all.10 Inches wide at the pick.The shovel at the most wide place is 3 inches.The shovel edge is 2.25 inches wide.The pick thickness is approx 14mm.Total weight of the product is 740 grams.Built quality is very good,well designed for domestic use.All weight balance is at the metal pick head as the handle is made of a plastic feel material.The pick/Head is well locked in placed in the plastic/fibre handle .Worth the price in less then rupees 300.Not useful for home plants, foolish of me to buy it, this tool is large for home use or small pots at home.Highly recommended for home gardens, gardens,farm house,car or off road use.Hope the supplier can add more details on specifications as it would guide buyers for correct size and usage.The hickory handle model is also available in same, a bit more expensive.happy buyer and recommended for serious offroad vehicle owners as well.

The media could not be loaded. Small and lightweight, but feels sturdy. Not for heavy work. Better than cheap garden tool kit set.

Very useful and strongly built. Handy size for older people working in their gardens. Not heavy and easy to handle bur good enough to dig and the scoop away the other end of the axe is very good and useful. All in all a must have for anyone who has a garden.

Good sturdy built. Very heavy for backyard gardening. Won't recommend if you hv bad back. It has grooves on top where mud gets deposited and very difficult to remove. So if you are one who wants to keep your tool clean then think twice. Overall I will not recommend as most of the money paid is for heavy handle

The iron/steel part is good & strong, not some mild malleable metal. The handle is convenient size. I can work sitting and do the ground work, or work standing and work the planters. Very happy with this purchase.

tired of old cast iron made light tools, I bought this for gardening as got heavy metal ore type soil at my home. this is one amazing super heavy sturdy pick axe. the handle is what makes it perfect. i think this would last 100 years
