Advent 24"/600mm Precision Class II Steel Rule - ASR600

I needed a long measure with a resilient edge to use on my A0 cutting mat. Excellent quality for the price and after weeks of using a craft knife against it , hoping I'm skilled enough, there is no damage to the edge. Well pleased.

All Advent tapes and rules are excellent, and excellent value.

I received a 24" version of this as an Xmas present (yes, I could guess what is was before I unwrapped it!). I liked it enough to immediately order myself this 12" version too. The etched markings are accurate and very clear to read (though I find the .5mm lines on one side of the metrics a distraction rather than a help). The steel is maybe just a tad on the thin side, quite flexible, and the edges just a little sharp - a couple of minutes carefully sanding with 250/400 grit soon corrected that. Most tools need a little fettling.This line of rulers seems to sit between the very cheap Chinese budget versions which are largely horrible, and the premium brand versions which are excellent but cost 3 or 4 times more of course. As such it gives decent quality at an affordable price. £5 to £10 depending on model for a good quality life time tool, I think is good value. Happy to recommend on the basis of value and very easy to read markings.

I’ve been wanting to buy these rulers for some time but I always was put off buying because I thought, do I really have a need for them. But since purchasing I use it more frequently than any other means of measuring especially for small jobs as you get very accurate measurements.

I bought a couple of these because I need rulers with all metric on one face and all imperial on the other face, so that you can measure on either edge using just metric or imperial. Too many rulers have metric on top edge and imperial on the bottom edge and you flip it over only to find the same configuration.Just great for measuring into corners top or bottom. I just wish they didn't bother with half millimeter scale as it makes it much harder to read off the mm unless you're near sighted or have a magnifying glass which is why I deducted a star for readability.

Not the cheapest one out there but the quality seems good, well defined markings and no rough edges etc.Almost as important, it arrived in a good cardboard box so there was no risk of bending or damage in transit.Does the job, no complaints.

I bought this to replace one I'd had for years which, if you held it at one end it didn't bend. This one bends like a fishing rod with a small fish on the line

Los números y marcas están grabados, no pintados, con lo que no se borrarán. Es fina pero lo suficientemente consistente, y la precisión es perfecta, la he comparado con una cinta métrica de confianza. Las marcas de medio milímetro son muy útiles para trabajos de precisión (la compré por eso). Un plus: se envía en una funda de plástico y viene recubierta de aceite para evitar problemas de oxidación (es de acero, así que si vais a estar un tiempo sin usarla es buena idea ponerle lubricante, sobre todo si la guardáis en un sitio con humedad ambiental). Compra muy recomendable.

Riga molto ben costruita, spessa abbastanza da essere semi rigida e non piegarsi facilmente, tacche e numeri incisi la rendono molto chiara e leggibile, mi sembra abbia anche un'ottima precisione per cui alla fine nonostante il prezzo elevato non sono pentito dell'acquisto.Ottima come misura di riferimento in falegnameria, per banchi sega o altri strumenti simili!

Gradué en millimètres et en pouces cette règle est de très bonne qualité bien gravée donc bien lisible.

Skala exakt, Lineal robust, Handling einwandfrei.Hab das Lineal gleich noch in 2 weiteren Längen gekauft!
