Comparison and Review of Copi Women's Modern Backpack and Scarleton Chic Casual Backpack
I bought both this backpack and the Copi Women's Modern Design Backpack in black to compare the two and here's the verdict:Both backpacks are small-medium sized leather backpacks, but the Scarleton backpack (this one) is much bigger than the Copi one, despite the dimensions of the Copi backpack being listed as being larger. I could easily fit a sweatshirt and two regular sized notebooks for my work in the Scarleton backpack, while only the sweatshirt fit in the Copi backpack. The Scarleton backpack was also more accommodating to the shape and volume of what you put into it, while the Copi backpack had a more structured shape and thus could only fit a fixed volume of things. The Scarleton backpack also has two zippered outside compartments: one that can be seen from the front view, and one in the back where it would be hidden against your back while you wear the backpack. I really liked the idea of having a back pocket so that I can keep my wallet and phone in a safe place that can't be easily opened by thieves. There are also two small open pockets inside the main compartment of the backpack for storing small things like chargers, gum, or pens, and one extra zippered pouch for anything you want to keep extra secure in the main compartment of your backpack. The Copi backpack has one zippered outside pouch that can hold a decent amount of items, but it has no zippered pouch on the back face of the backpack like the Scarleton one did. However, it has two side pockets that look like they can be used for water bottles or other thing, but for me, they were small and tight to fit a water bottle, or anything else for that matter. Inside the main compartment, there are no zippered pouches, but there is a divider- like one you would see for a laptop backpack. It is a thin but sturdy piece of cloth that I assume would be a good place for storing an iPad or a reading tablet.I also liked the Copi backpack's design of having a flap that magnetically closes over the zippered main compartment, but after trying to use it while going out, I found it very bothersome to have to open and close the flap all the time to get something; if you don't properly secure the magnetic closure to the flap, the leather flap will just flop around while you walk. If you are usually not in a rush to get your items in and out of your backpack, this may not bother you, but for me, I need an easy way to access my things, and the simple zippered closure of the Scarleton backpack was more appealing to me.Now for the quality of the leather of the two backpacks:The leather of the Scarleton backpack is softer and more bendable than the Copi one. When the Copi backpack is bent, it leaves creases in the leather that are hard to get rid of. However, the leather of the Scarleton backpack was a lot more textured and looks like very fine snake/alligator skin print if you look very closely. It really isn't that noticeable, but for some people, it doesn't fit their style. The leather of the Copi backpack is much smoother and less textured- but I would still be a bit weary of the quality. The straps of the Copi backpack are also a bit uncomfortable- they are only leather on top, for the bottom of the strap that makes contact with skin, it is a rough felt-like material. It was very scratchy and since I know that I personally like to wear sleeveless tops from time to time and carry my backpack for extended periods of time, I knew that uncomfortable backpack straps would bother me a lot in the long run. I preferred the soft all-around leather straps of the Scarleton backpack. However, the gold zippers on the Scarleton backpack are rather heavy and clink together a lot when you walk. I solved this by tucking in one zipper tab into the backpack and leaving the other out, but some may still find the extra bit of noise annoying.I chose the Scarleton backpack in the end and returned the Copi one simply because I preferred the larger size, easier accessibility, the fact that it has more pockets for organization, the softer backpack straps, and the better quality leather. But I must admit, the Copi backpack is very nice and stylish. It is very flattering and can be worn with many different styles of clothing. If you don't mind it being a bit small and taking a bit longer to open and close, then you should definitely give the Copi backpack a try too. I personally was very pleased by both backpacks but did not need two, so I had to choose only one.Hope this review was helpful!

In loooove
I love it! I ordered mine for school on Tuesday and got it on Thursday with Amazon prime. I bought this bag because I didn't like the material of the backpacks made in stores; they look cheaply made. However I feel confident that this bag will last me the whole school year ( if treated properly). I ordered this bag because I have a school locker and I am a senior that is only taking 3 classes , but I would not recommend this bag for a "backpack" it only fits 3 composition notebooks, and a few more items if slightly forced. During my freshman- junior years, I needed a bigger bag to carry my books. It's definitely a stylish college type bag !

Easy to find your stuff
I carry a lot of stuff when I go to work - Yes! I need it all! A regular purse was a strain on the shoulder so I tried a couple of different back pack styles. They were ok if you put it on the desk or your lap to route around in the deep dark hole for what you needed but out an about shopping was a pain. I struggled to find anything with it dangling from one strap off my shoulder and invariably had to take it off and rest it on the check out counter to delve around to find my wallet. This one is so much easier to use. The pocket on the front is perfect for a good sized phone in its case. The main flap opens up wide to show you most of the interior making things easy to find and get to. The slip pockets on the sides are great for all kinds of smaller things. I can easily fit my tablet inside against the back wall so it has support, and I use a purse organizer in the bottom. The quality is good but the zippers could be a bit smoother and like a lot of purse type things these days, they seem to have skimped a little on the straps. These are thinner and less sturdy than I would like but they are not showing any signs of breaking - probably due to the webbing on the back side of them. It holds plenty without looking like something you would take on a day hike up a mountain. Good for the price.

Two Stars
Leather and hardware looked cheap, leather was very hard. Strong smell. Returned.

Cute bag, but fell apart within a month.
Cute bag lots of room, but after having it for only a month the inside flap has torn away. I do use this backpack everyday and cram things in it so its not lightly used. However, i didnt expect it to fall apart so fast.

Great every-day small backpack
This backpack is perfect for simple every-day use. I love the side pockets, and they are the perfect size for a water bottle, small umbrella, etc. They do stretch out over time, especially when being used for a travel umbrella. Overall I was extremely happy with this purse. It even still looks like it did when I first purchased it. Unfortunately, after only a year (bought this originally in January 2017) of daily use, the straps are close to ripping off, and the small outside zipper pocket now refuses to open. I would re-purchase this backpack because I liked it so much, but I am afraid that the quality will similarly not last. I also wish the backpack had at little more organization on the inside and was just a smidge bigger. This definitely would not work as a school backpack – you can't fit an 8.5x11 sheet of paper in here, let alone a binder.Worth the buy, just know to be careful with the backpack and the quality may not last.

I love it and get tons of complements for the looks ...
I got this backpack purse for a vacation to Washington State. I love it and get tons of complements for the looks but what I like most is that it holds alot. I can put 2 bottles of water in it, a sweater and jacket for my son, cameras, snacks, all kinds of stuff when we go to an amusement park, national park hiking, or on an airplane. But I like it so much I use it on a daily basis. It is great for a busy mom who does not want to look like they are carrying a diaper bag or school backpack.

Wouldn't recommend
It was just okay, the strap kept coming loose and the front zipper would stick or come apart if zip it up to fast. Should have returned but didn't want to bother it.
