Grip feels different
Overall feel and handling is slightly different than Midwest , but the craftsmanship is really good, this is my 3rd pair and I won't be buying anything else but this brand , I tried other brands but im really happy with the price and durability of the channel locks

Now glad my old pair broke
I have been using an old pair of snips that were passed down to my Father. I have been using them on thicker and thicker metal and the other day the metal the snips were made of snapped in half. I was disappointed but found these heavy duty ones for a good price and decided to purchase them. The first thing I tried them on was the metal that broke my other pair. This new pair cut them like butter. I then decided to really push them and got the thickest piece of metal I would ever need to cut with snips and the attached photo shows this pair of Channellocks made easy work of a standard electric box which is pretty thick hard metal. I think I am going to really like this pair and will make my work go three times as fast now. I do cut thicker metals but for that I use bolt cutters. Funny thing is, the bolt cutters will not cut the thinner metal like electrical boxes.

Quality!!!!
These are just as good as the Midwest snips for twice the price. Save money with channel lock!!

Better than the aviation shears I had laying around
Worked well on wife's project. Much better than the aviation shears I had in the garage.

Heavy duty tin snips
Wow, these are seriously nice tin snips. Tin snips are one of my all-time favorite multiple-use tools, from cutting metal to cutting drip line, etc. Just great tools. Sort of like the duct tape of the tool world, imo. Since I use my husband's tin snips so often and appropriated them for one of my tool buckets, I decided to get him a new pair of snips. Boy, I'm seriously tempted to keep this pair as it's heavier duty than the ones I've been using. Alas, I must hold fast and give the best pair to my husband, as he's the one who uses them most often to actually cut metal. Very happy with this purchase!

Solid 24 gauge steele from a brand that you can trust.
Im a crafter and I've found that most snips that I've used dont cut straight, (instead they veer off to one side or the other.) So, before I selected this brand and invested $,, I: watched several allegedly unsponsored product comparisons, researched, compared features, read reviews, made a spreadsheet, then shopped around for the best price.Channelock is a tried / true brand that I've trusted for many decades and continue to trust to do many projects.I'm pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

Just like the "old" version of Midwest offset snips
24 March 2022 update: Added pic of a coworker's old model Midwest reds. Not as exact as I thought but still great so far.As a number of reviews have said, these Channellock offset snips appear to be identical to the old version of Midwest snips. I don't like the new Midwest snips as much because the metal part of the handles tend to cut/stab through the rubber grips (the colored part) after a few drops from ladders.Otherwise, these Channellock & Midwest are exceptional tin snips. Channellock are now superior because they're comparable but priced better.

Minty snips
They're awesome. I do hvac and use them for round pipe duct most of the time and they're borderline effortless to cut with. Same as midwest but they cost less

Great
Using this product mostly to cut carrying channel and 20 gauge top and bottom track only good to cut flanges but cuts like a knife through butter.
