I have cabin in the woods of the hills of WV where "no signal" has been my problem any time I go there for a break. Yes, it's good getting away from technology but there are always emergencies. I purchased this unit, found out the approximate direction of the nearest tower - which I can't visually ascertain - and attached the repeater on a pole strapped to the aluminum roof, so it was about 15 ft from the ground. I ran the cable (that comes with it) in my ceiling across the cabin and to within 6 ft of a power outlet. Attached the receiver, gave it power and I now had four to five bars. So yes, I can recommend it and so can my neighbors (more family cabins) who are up to 150 yards away who also experienced increased reception ranging from one to four bars relative to their distance from my cabin. Good product, mid-range cost and quite effective

I bought this thinking that for the price even if it didn't add much I wasn't out anything. It was very simple and easy to install. Directions very clearly state that the outdoor antennae needs to be at least 30 feet from indoor antenna . BUT it doesn't come with much more than 30 feet of cable. I tried installing it several different ways and one thing is definitely true. The farther apart the antennas the better it works for me. However with the very limited amount of cable supplied I'm kind of... ( what's a polite way to say screwed?) I've been in construction my whole life so I have the skills to install this unobtrusively in my home. Unfortunately the cable ends are not standard coaxial cable so I don't have a clue how to find another 50 foot extension cable with one male and one female end the right size. After the last time I wrote a review on this the company sent me an email say " oh so sorry 30 feet doesn't matter at all" your guide book and my experience say otherwise. How much money did your company save by not including an extra 20 feet of cheap coaxial cable ? 2 dollars? Three stars. The thing really worked for me. Would have been twice as nice with 50 feet of cable. You can always coil up the extra but you can't stretch what you don't have. And the fluff email telling me that the distance doesn't matter was untrue.Update.They sent me a 15 meter cable extension. Made a huge difference Thanks!UpdateBought this may 15. I loved this when I bought it. We live out in the middle of nowhere and couldn't get a signal in the house except over the kitchen sink. This installed in 3 minutes and I had anywhere from 2 to 4 bars throughout our metal siding and roof house (1200 sq ft). Almost one year later and it's mostly stopped working. I still have occasional coverage but usually I have 1 bar or less now. It just doesny hold up well.

Stopped working after a few months. Now it just jams our cell phones when turned on. Tried 5 deg increments 360 total and no reception. Don’t know what changed except maybe amplifier went bad?1st booster was wrong freq, this works for my wife’s iphoneX using Straight Talk provider over Verizon network. My iphone 7+ using H2O also got a little boost but my wife has full bars now. My wife before install was 1 or 2 bars max.Main problem was finding correct direction and Verizon cell antenna. I tried using map on internet but it didn’t work. My mother lives not too far from our home and I noticed cell attennas behind her apartment on the hill. Changed direction of booster antenna to my moms apartment and Shazam! Full bars on my wife’s phone and solid 3 and sometimes 4 on my H2O AT&T iPhone 7+!I thought I had a bad amplifier because we would turn it on and actually see our signal go to zero or 1 bar! When I changed booster antenna correct direction it actually increased the signal strength and has been solid for weeks now!It would be nice for other people who are looking to buy this when reviewing to tell what cell phone and provider it worked or didn’t on.

Bought this because i had to run to the window to get service or go outside.. Installed it very fast pointed the antenna at a far cell tower i have cricket/at&t. And i got 3-5 4g bars download is from 2-4 mbps per second and upload is a steady. 0.80 mps up to 1.50 mps.. Varies on what tome of day it is.. This was worth every cent.. Im very happy with the product and its performance so far.

Great Cell Repeater. I live in a small Southern Colorado town. The local Cell tower does not have a battery back up in the event of power outage. When the local power shuts down, (It happens a lot here), I switch this on and pick up a tower 20 miles away, A tower with battery back up. Not as good a signal and the local tower, But I'm not completely without service.

I received unit yesterday, after nine day wait. Installed antenna today with alignment made by satellite imaging from GIS system using At&t tower location map. Made temporary connections using maximum separation of antennas allowed by provided cables. Plugged in power supply, got green light. Signal at outdoor antenna was approx. -95 to -98 dbi, and giving good call service. Signal inside building before installation was -108 to -112 dbi . Signal inside after install and power up -112 dbi. All antenna aiming adjustments made no difference in signal, rotating a 45 degree arc in increments. Signal amplification was zero.Perhaps my unit was just defective, unit is to be returned to Amazon ASAP for refund.

Ok. Honest, none paid review. This thing is amazing. I purchased it bc I live in a converted bus motor home. I could get zero service. Outside I could barely get my phone to work going between one and zero bars and cutting out when I even got it to work. I hooked this baby up, which was quit easy, and now I have full service, all bars! I'm so happy. Really really am. Glad I decided to get this. Now I can use my hotspot for internet and its perfect!
