So fun!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas to play with her friends. They had so much fun running around on New Years Eve!The value for money, the quality, and accuracy was top notch.I do wish that the straps that go around the body were adjustable as some of the kids were smaller and they flopped around on them.Otherwise, it’s a great toy! Just needs lots of batteries! With this many batteries, the option to make it rechargeable would be great.

Awesome for indoors, not precise enough at a distance but still awesome!
This ZIFFY laser tag set has an impressive amount of features. You will need 6 AAA batteries per person (3 for blaster and 3 for chest piece). So 24 AAA for four people to play (batteries not included). In order to start you pair the blaster with the chest piece by just firing at it.The blaster has the option to switch team colors, so a blue blaster/chest can be on red team (LED lights will change to match). So there can be multiple people on the same team or everyone on their own. Once a game is started, the team can't be changed until the blaster is turned off and on, which is a nice little anti-cheat. Pretty neat! The switch at the front of the blaster even allows you to turn on a "laser" sight. I quote that because it is more like a mini flashlight and doesn't show up as a dot. At a distance it is pretty large. The front weapon indicator highlights your current selection and can be changed with the weapon button (below team button). The weapons have different damage amounts, and different audio/haptic feedback, but seem to have the same "hit box." For the smaller weapon types with unlimited ammo, they can be reloaded by an orange button below the grip and current bullet count is displayed near the sight. As for the chest piece, it has a pretty wide range of adjustment, which helps fit most people. Holding a hand up to try and cover the sensor doesn't seem to be enough to stop registering hits, which is great. Blocking it with something thick enough of course does prevent hits. Both the blaster and chest piece display your current health points (total of 10). Each solid LED is 2 HP and a flashing one indicates 1 HP. There is even a low health audio warning so you can get to cover. Getting hit in the chest or the blaster counts against your total HP and there seems to be very short invulnerability windows between shots, so emptying an entire 10 shots of pistol into an opponent as fast as possible generally won't game over them (but will be close). When starting a game, just make sure you pull the trigger to really start the game or getting hit won't register (has audio feedback when ready to play).Overall I think this is a fantastic set for indoor play, but the aim/hit dynamic becomes pretty bad at range. We tested it at 60 feet apart at night and we could hit each other even when aiming 5ft+ to the side (using the "laser" sight as indicator). The IR light used to register shots is just too imprecise and forms an enormous hit cone at large distances to the point you can't miss. Still, for indoor play, this set is great, and with enough obstacles to hide behind maybe large outdoor settings can still be fun.

Junk
Takes a total of 24 batteries, and they only last for 2 hours, I will definitely be investing in a new Lazer tag set for the kids that is rechargeable, because this junk isn't worth it
