The ad states that this converter can handle a curling iron. I searched all over amazon for one that could handle that and a hair dryer, I chose this one because it specifically said it could.When I tried using my curling iron while overseas, it either would not turn on or would not heat up. Then it started smelling like it was burning...so, now my curling iron is fried and I will have to get a new one. Plus I have spent a week overseas unable to do my hair. I pulled out the insert directions after trying to use my curling iron and discovered it states not for use on curling irons. I am disappointed I will now have to buy a new curling iron.On the plus side, it does charge phones and tablets fine.

Did what it's supposed to do. Charged 2 phones and a Kindle at once just fine. BUT BEWARE my friend got a couple shocks from it connecting a USB plug. Not sure how since it's all plastic, but he was standing on a wet floor at the time. Use with caution. (it was Venice, everything was wet)

This Voltage Converter device worked as advertised while we were traveling in both rural and urban Central Asia. I appreciated that it had the plug and adapter. Also this kit all fit in the included protective bags (one medium and one small bag).It was reassuring that we could carry voltage converter and use it anywhere we went to charge multiple mobile devices and two computers all at the same time from 220-240 VAC stepped down to 110-120 VAC (volts AC).Every digital device was in good health when we got home.

We traveled to Germany and Switzerland with 2 cell phones, an ipad, a curling iron, an external charger and another device that needed to be charged. We used this item that had room for all of those at one time , as we took cords to use with the charging ports and plugged in other devices. It did a great job. I'm glad I decided to purchase this converter and recommend it highly.

I like the way it looks. and the design as one multi input to one unit with overload trip. I am currently overseas in Europe and used your travel universal adaptor with surge protector and the first time I used it from the box is in Greece and the first time I plugged it in, the surge protector keeps on tripping. Reset, tripped, reset, tripped and on and on and on. I never had a chance to used it in Greece. Then went to Italy and I tried it again with no avail. Doing the same thing.I do not know if it is still cover by warranty and like I said I am currently travelling in Europe and I have to purchase one of the local adaptor in Italy so i can use your multiple outlet and charger. What is my chance of returning it and have it replace when I get back to the USA. Expect to be back on the first week of August.

The converter is excellent but the box started to burn and blew out the first time using it...killed both charging cords along with it...while traveling abroad. Not happy considering the price you pay...

I like this converter because it's small and compact, it fits in a small carry-on suitcase, it also has three 3-socket holders and four USB ports on the voltage converter itself, both Power supply for laptops, mobile phones, and other devices. In the absence of enough power outlets, it really helps us solve many problems, I am very happy that I purchased it.

this was purchased so I would be able to charge myphone and curling iron while visiting my daughter in Belgiumit worked perfectly and I was able to leave it for my daughter to usewe were able to charge all our phones and battery packs at the same time
