I needed a no frills stopwatch with a countdown function, and this is perfect. I'm not crazy about the fact that you can't turn the beep off, but it was easy enough to remove the back and disable it that way.

This stopwatch is easy to use, comes with a lanyard, and includes a battery, but fitting standard U.S. AAA batteries can be tricky. I love that it allows both countdown and stopwatch functions at the same time, which is super useful for fitness. It's an awesome tool once you get past the battery quirk!

I LOVE this stop watch. It can count down for a specific time AND give you the off/one stop watch AT THE SAME TIME!!!I am a CPR instructor and I use this to time a 10 minute Team Dynamics Session. I will stop and start the stop watch feature for the chest compression time. Once the 10 minutes Session expires, I will get the compression fracture time - wonderful! I used to use my smart phone AND a stop watch for this - now I only need this wonderful Stopwatch!HIGHLY recommended!

Most entry-level timers inexplicably lack a countdown feature. This item has it, with a simple set/reset setup. Readable in daylight too. I have used it on two all-weekend events very successfully. Recommend.

Easy to set simple to use best parts is AAA batteries operated

It seems to be a good stop watch. I bought for the countdown function, but I can barely hear the beeper when it goes off. I will eithet have to build my own or buy another one.

This is well priced simple & sturdy and easy to use digital stop watch and timer. It comes on a long lanyard which makes it perfect for use out doors and when on the go. There is an audible beep tone as the stopwatch is started and stopped, and when the timer reaches it mark.I was surprised by one thing about this stop watch. This stop watch operates on one single AAA battery. A battery is included with the watch. The included battery fits into the battery compartment completely and the lid to the compartment can be fully clicked into place. I then inserted a AAA battery that I already had. That AAA battery matches many different AAA batteries that I had in my drawer. However, I found that the AAA battery supplied by the stopwatch vender had a slightly narrower diameter than other AAA batteries. See the photo where the silver/blue AAA battery is inserted into the battery compartment and the compartment lid simply cannot be completely clicked into place.I found another old AAA battery at home this time from a Japanese manufacturer. That one could also fully fit into this stopwatch’s battery compartment. In other words, the tolerances for the size (depth) of the battery in the compartment is so tight that it does not fully accept other standard US made AAA batteries. This includes many well know US brands. These US batteries must be 1mm or 2 mm wider in diameter than the included battery. I’m not sure if in the future, I will be able to get the slightly narrower diameter AAA batteries that this stopwatch best fits. I would still be able to insert my US AAA batteries, but I’d probably want to stick a big strip of masking tape on the back, and who wants to do that. I’d suggest that the stopwatch manufacturers slightly enlarge the depth of the batter compartment so that all AAA batteries will fully fit into the battery compartment.
