I was about to order other extendable rods, from a different company that had more reviews on Amazon.Then, I noticed Amazon's msg that I'd already ordered that from them...That surprised me for a minute, but then I remembered that a year ago I did... They just never arrived!I was in touch with that company, they kept coming up with strange excuses,and after a month I just cancelled that order.This time I was wiser (thanks to Amazon's reminder) and ordered the WHITE SPRING LOADED TENSION ROD. And I'm so happy I did!The order arrived quickly, it was just as described, very easy to install, and strong enough to hold regular (though not very heavy) curtains.I was afraid it might be too weak for normal curtains, but it wasn't.What else can you ask for?!

Strong but light, easy to fit, used for heavy net curtains. I have bought these poles for all my windows.

Go up easy and stay where there put good value for money

I have forever found using 'extending wire' something of a chore. The curtain rods, provided by Ians Emporium' were very straight forward to use. Threading through the seam at the top of the net was just so easy. I managed to put the long (61-98) tension rod up in about five minutes, and the second one (36-60) took even less time. I already knew (having had a similar product for a shower curtain) that the rod was spring-loaded, and that you need to pull it apart quite firmly in order for it to stay securely in place.I am planning to get another two (or three if we don't use blinds) in the near future.Highly recommended.

Quite flimsy and won't hold too much. If you need strength spend the extra money and get a better one. Good for n9t heavy stuff
