Brown Spring Reverb Pedal - Okay reverb, some kind of mystical tone machine?

There's a ton of these inexpesive reverb pedals floating around and I've got a few. As far as a spring reverb is concerned, this one is okay, but not my first choice for reverb. Thing about this pedal, though, is it does something to your tone that I can't quite put my finger on, and, at least with my rig, sounds spectacular in certain applications. It's some kind of frequency sculpting that the circuit does, and I don't think it's intentional. In fact, as a reverb, this thing is anything but transparent, it has a very pronounced effect on your tone. Technical details for those interested: I'm playing PAF style humbuckers through an Orange 30w tube amp, cranked for breakup, and very little else in my signal path. This is a two knob spring reverb pedal (mix and dwell) and when you engage it, regardless of the settings, you get a slight boost in volume and a slight change in tone that gives it a rounder, chimier sound. On a semi-hollow ES135 with switch set at center it sounds incredible to my ears. Your mileage may vary, maybe this is specific to my rig, or even my ears, but for less than thirty bucks, it's worth a shot.

Does a good job at what it is supposed to

These pedals work very well at the single thing they do. I like the analog "one trick pony" concept. Other than a pop when engaged they make no unwanted noise. They seem well made on the outside, however, the one problem I had was the 1/4" input broke after jacking the instrument cable in and out 3 or 4 times. The pedal was promptly replaced. I added a short extension cable so now I plug in there and leave the pedals patched in.

Pretty good for a one trick pedal

While it doesn't offer much in ways off different types of reverb even though it is digital, it is pretty good. The one side effect I noticed is that even with an isolated power supply it can sometimes be noisey. All in all for like $20 something it does a good job.

Great pedal! Works on bass ok

Great Pedal, does good on bass, but notes on the low B don’t come through.

It's a delay pedal, what else?

I mean it's just another digital delay pedal. No volume or tone options, but works well. So far no complaints. I do love the blue LED behind the clear main knob.

Good value for the price, a bit noisy

On a humbucker guitar, this produces a lot of fuzz/distortion. I had to dial it back to 9 o'clock on the level, tone and fuzz. Or dial back the volume and tone on the guitar. Over about half way on the fuzz dial noise/hiss becomes noticeable. For the price, it does produce fuzz and if you work at it you can get a variety of fuzz tones. This pedal is probably better for metal than Hendrix or Clapton.

Outer this world

Just wanted to add a little delay to my setup, this pedal is small but packs a big punch! You get some solid delay Tones/noises and adding it with some reverb and flange makes it super spacey

Does the job

I use this to take care of my P90 pickup hum. Controls it pretty well

Cheap, awful rubbish.

I messed around with this Azor overdrive pedal for a good hour or so and could not find a single acceptable sound with any of the settings. I returned it and bought the Behringer Overdrive Distortion pedal instead (about £5 more expensive) and the difference is huge. The Behringer pedal has a range of GREAT sounds and is a quality product. My experience of Behringer's pedal rang is positive so far, so I doubt I'll be going anywhere near these cheap worthless budget pedals. Just pay the extra and go with Behringer if you want decent quality low-cost pedals.

A wee pedal with some mojo

Azor pedals got a pretty favourable group review on the YouTube channel 60 second hum and this little red fella was a bit of a shout out. Great little pedal for peanuts. I use it on medium gain to add a good pinch of grit and punch to my clean signal for that "Bryan Adams" 80s pop rock vibe. So sue me I'm old. This probably isn't what you want for metal but for around £20 I can only recommend.

Hard to rate this as it is a very specific sound

So .. It's a Fuzz pedal .. and I like it .. I saw a review from 60cyclehum .. He didn't rate it highly .. but it was the sound I was looking for ... so I bought one ... and it doesn't sound exactly like the one reviewed on the tippy tappy ... but .. im not surprized as its so cheap ? .. built ok .. not a versatile pedal .. does one sound well.. I'm pleased ... but I wanted something very specific... so .. make your own mid up!

Strange mojo

This pedal is an odd one, because it's sometimes meh, and other times, if you are in the mood, the most incredible mojo machine. It's not like a fuzz face etc. more like a bloated distortion pedal with massive gain, but that would probably be a bad description. You have to try it to know.

Gold Caline klone - Noise, Noise Noise!

This pedal sounds great, but the noise level of it makes it unusable. It's not just hiss, but cracks, pops and scratching sounds which are very annoying. I had to return mine due to this.
