WINSHIDEN Stageline Wireless System for Active Loudspeakers Transmit Audio Wirelessly

Tried it around 15 meters away from my mixer and it was great. There was interference when my internet router was placed beside the transmitter, Just moved it 5 inches away and interference gone. It takes away the hassle of using heavy cables. Happy with my purchase so far since I only used it once.

I have used this a few times and it is a reliable product. If you can get a good line of sight I have found it is very stable. Try to send it around corners or through walls and you are asking for trouble. I am not keen on the fact that the power adapters are fairly solid objects. Also they are AC only so no using the modules on battery I'm afraid. I'm no electrician but my guess is DC current may well kill them. The receivers are a cheap lightweight type of plastic which would not survive a fall onto hard floors so treat them accordingly I suggest. Much cheaper than the Alto alternatives and my guess is they are just as good. The audio is very clear and to my ears as good as a cable (I don't know if it's the highest of hifi as I haven't tried it on my home system......which is reference standard) so do not worry about a limited bandwith. The bass is all present and correct as well for those of you who wish they could run another sub across a large room. If you are on the fence take a punt you may be pleasantly surprised. In conjunction with active loudspeakers eliminates long cable runs, saving time and reducing risks. Sticking two 'penny' washers on top of each loudspeaker provides neat and secure attachment using the strong magnets in the base of each receiver unit.
