ZACAL Glitter Cat Collars With Bell & Quick Release Safety Buckle, Adjustable and Suitable For All Domestic Cats & Larger Kittens (PINK)

Two days ago I bought these collars on with bells as a way to stop my cat from catching birds and spreading their innards around the house.Excellent looking collars. Attached the first of the two to my cat and he ran off. Within 10 minutes he came back sans collar. I attached the second collar tighter than the first (one finger space between it and my cat). Off he ran again, less than 5 minutes he was back in my living room minus his collar.So that's that. I have as many collars as I did two days ago, and there is a dead bird in my kitchen, IT'S BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS!!!!!!Only joking, it is all on my cat, he is a d#ck.

My boy, Castiel, has no time for any toxic masculinity okay? He's been rocking this shocking pink collar since it was bought and looking mighty fine whilst doing so. Until time for his flea treatment. Off comes collar, on goes flea treatment. Next day, back goes collar. Within 3 hours, my gorgeous tuxedo boy has some distinct pink showing in his normally bright white ruff. Did I put the collar back on too soon? I don't think so - my queen Squeaks had same treatment and her turquoise leopard print collar hasn't dyed her ruff at all. And she has a LOT of ruff. Don't know if it's just because the collar was pink or what, but knocked off a couple of stars for the fact that apparently liquid (whether it be from their water fountains or flea treatment) makes the dye run.I do appreciate the heads up the bell gives me before my lump of a boy jumps on my chest!

Don't buy this collar unless you want your cats' fur to change colour! This collar has been on for a week and today we noticed that my cats lovely white bib has turned pink. To say that I am furious is an understatement because I don't know if the pink colouring will come out of her fur or not. She hates getting wet even with a little rain, so we're not able to bath her.To be fair I'm surprised that she hasn't tried to get the collar off because the fabric is really scratchy against her neck. I was unsure about it when I put it on, but that doesn't seem to have bothered her, it's just me who is really annoyed.I couldn't choose zero stars, otherwise the item wouldn't have got any!!

THE CLASP IS NOT TOO SLACK BUT I HOPE NOT TOO TIGHT EITHER. I HAVE READ SOME REVIEWS ON THIS BRAND OF THE BELLS FALLING OFF. I USUALLY BUY ANCOL AND HAVE NEVER HAD THE BELLS FALL OFF. I CAN NOT COMMENT ON THESE AS ITS MY FIRST TIME PURCHASE. THE BELLS ARE LOUDER BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS A BAD THING AS I HAVE THREE CATS. IT IS EASIER FOR ME TO FIND WHERE THEY ARE TOO. THEY ARE INDOOR CATS SO CAN'T RATE HOW THEY ARE IF CAUGHT ON BUSHES.

We have a 6 month old kitten who must have some method of identification if he gets out of the house due to health issues. The plan was to put a collar on him and then attach details of who to contact should he go astray. Within a day of wearing this collar, he managed to unclip it three times. I'd like to emphasize that he didn't slip his head out of it, he actually managed to undo the locking mechanism. Luckily, he was in the house when this occurred so we were able to keep tabs on where he was. If your cat must wear a collar outside this isn't the one to choose as it will be lost within a few hours (unless our cat was Harry Houdini in a previous life and has mysteriously inherited his former abilities )

Love how sparkly this collar is! We had to take the bell off, not our choice, the kitty didn't like it! It wasn't an awful sounding bell, I think it was the dangliness that annoyed her! She wasn't used to anything like that. And now I can tell our two little twin foster girls apart!

Lovely collars, a great colour with the glitter. The clips are very safe too as the cats manage to get them off ALL the time.

I now have a purple cat and a purple collar 💜 doesn't look like this collar is compatible with flea treatments...
