This is a nice sheath that happen to fit the Rapala Elite 7" pliers like a glove. Just enough retention to keep them from falling out unintentionally but easy to remove when you need them, pliers kind of lightly snap in place when fully seated in the sheath. The belt clip swivels. These Rapala Elites are great pliers for the money but the stock sheath that comes with them is garbage and quickly gets torn up, this cheap product here solves all the issues.

I wanted a sheath that can be mounted directly onto my small boat. This was just the ticket. The belt clip can be removed and the sheath screwed directly onto a flat surface. I designed and 3D printed a bracket for mounting one of these onto the chair of my 10’ boat (see photo); works great.Out of the box, these sheaths are designed to be clipped onto a belt. Ideally, the belt should be between 1-1/2” and 1-3/4” wide and somewhat stiff. I tried the 2nd sheath on one of my wading belts made of nylon webbing. It didn’t work so well. The belt wasn’t stiff enough to hold the sheath securely. But the sheath worked perfectly on the 1-1/2” leather belt I use with my jeans. Having the ability for the sheath to rotate on the clip is really convenient. It makes inserting and removing the pliers much easier. I prefer plastic sheaths over the cloths ones that came with some of my pliers. When the pliers are used for fishing, the latter can become quite smelly if not cleaned thoroughly after each use.These sheaths worked out well for me. I think it’s a good product. Just make sure your pliers fit.
