Best Budget AM5 Motherboard!
You really won't find anything at the same level as the ASRock B650m-HDV/M.2 at its price range. It offers great VRMs and the heatsink featured gets the job done. It can even handle beasts like the 7950X3D, but I would refrain from purchasing this and going with a more premium motherboard if you're going to spend that much on a CPU. Ryzen 5 7600 – Ryzen 7 7800X3D territory is where it really shines. Another thing that I absolutely love about this particular mobo is the fast boot times. It'll take <20 from pressing the power button to being loaded into Windows! However, there are a few glaring cons:- It only comes with 2 RAM slots, which can hurt RAM upgradability, so I would recommend going with at least 32 gigabytes if you choose to get this.– It has no RGB, not even headers!– It only has 6 rear I/O ports.– It has a lowered thermal limit at 85°C, which can hurt performance. The pros greatly outweighed the cons for me, especially considering that I would need to spend $50 to get around just 1 or 2 of them.
