RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX This trap felt and looked solid. And for some of the other reviews, seem like pessimists. Whenever you buy something it wont always be just the way you like it. Things need adjusting. So that is simply what I did with this trap and within a couple minutes of adjusting the pressure plate and adding some lubricant, I had the trap set to the right amount of weight for it to be set off. Nothing complicated.Overall great product, and like all other traps be careful when setting them and check often.Happy Hunting
