It’s incredible how much natural light comes shining out of this thing that is barely fatter than a double-a battery. The specially shaped and frosted optic projects a wide, soft-edged beam with tons of spill, making it perfect for tasks in one’s immediate vicinity, or for navigating low-light areas.The HCRI LED means the colors you see are true-to-life, making this an excellent choice for, photography, medical/emt, and electrical work. Any time color is important, a high CRI rating is key.The five levels of output cover most any situation you’d encounter in day-to-day activities. Triple-tapping means the strobe is useless under stress, so I’d prefer a beacon or sos mode.The new clip design is much better at accommodating wide materials like hat brims, which is nice. When you’re done, it can be clipped lens-down so it’s protected within the pocket.This bundle is a must, imho, as it includes a second rechargeable battery at a discount.

When my old mini maglight finally bit the dust, I looked for a replacement. I am amazed at today’s flashlight technology! I am very pleased with the Olight Mini S Baton. It is only the size of my thumb, but throws a light brighter than any small flashlight that I’ve ever owned.The Mini’s use of rechargeable RC123A batteries via the battery’s USB port is especially convenient for me. And no more throwing away AAA or AA batteries (and throwing away money)!Having a 2nd battery ready and recharged means I can continuously have my Olight available for use. No “timeout”, for recharging! This package includes a 2nd rechargeable battery and is a no brainer.The deep 2-way pocket clip is also a nice detail. Overall fit and finish appears excellent. The HCMI provides for a more “natural” color lighting that is easier on my eyes, from the limited experience with a family member’s LED flashlight.I can’t comment on the Mini’s durability yet, but will be putting it through an assortment of duties and suspect it will be at least as durable as my mini maglight.Olight appears to have a good following and as long as they continue to stand behind their product warranties I can and will recommend the Olight flashlights to friends and family.

I buy LED lights like jewelry. Currently somewhere around 20 of them in the home and cars. I love my Zebralights for being AA with programmable and wide light output.Had to try this little jewel. My first foray into Li Ion batteries. Love the USB charger built-in. Didn't need to spend $50 on a good Li Ion charger. The batteries stay hand-warm when charging, excellent for long life. I've yet to run out of charge, even after using the light for several hours bounced off the ceiling while I flew X-Plane in the dark, along with intermittent use for a week.I very much like the hold-for-moonlight, cycle thru low/med/high, and 2-clicks for turbo, 3 for strobe. Easy to remember. I bought the HRCI, but it is green/yellow tinged in the spill area. Not as good as my Zebralights in that regard, but probably not noticeable in typical use.Be aware that turbo get the head VERY HOT, very quickly. Use it for 10 seconds, then drop down to high.It's SO tiny and cute. Yeah, I said 'cute'.

Best little light I’ve yet used. And I’ve used a lot. I’ve been carrying AAA size pocket lights for the last few years, so this one felt a little fat in the pocket at first. Also took a little getting used to not having a tailcap switch. But totally worth it for the magnetic base, and awesome user interface. Stellar brightness, too. And batteries that have a micro-usb port built in? Sold!

Fits the hand perfectly. Easy to operate quickly. Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and charging cords. Bettery must be removed, but has a charging light.SUPER BRIGHT, but, has one tap settings. It remembers your last setting. You can set to ultra bright, turn it off, and it will remember.Or, during the day for dark areas, set it to low....which is still really bright.Battery life is excellent, about 5 days intermittent use.

Everything about this light is perfect! Totally waterproof! Let my kid play with it in the bath tub! Once you learn how to switch modes etc. it's very intuitive. Strobe is 3 day clicks but will not stay to memory. Moonlight mode is great for reading or night light and lasts up to 15 on one battery; and you get two batteries! It is all genuine Olight products and accessories. Very happy. I was extremely hesitant to buy a $60 flashlight, but I think it's well worth the money. Oh, it can also clip to a hat so you can use it like a head lamp!

I bought the older model about 5 years ago and it's still going great. I bought a couple of these as Christmas presents and they were well received. The light is incredibly bright regardless of the size. The fact that it IS so small and on my key chain makes even handier. I can't count the times this little light made life easier. Well worth the investment.

This flashlight is fantastic. I use it all the time. The 3 beam intensity settings are cool. I bring it every time I walk my dog at night. Bought one for my father on his birthday and he likes it. It will get warm with prolonged use, but that's to be expected with how small and bright this is.
