This helps your solution mix together. - Adjust the spray nozzle first to find the stream of water that works for you. You can adjust it so that it sprays in a decent fan pattern. - Adjust the knob on the top to control how much water is mixed in. The minus (-) sign indicates less water (so more foam is produced), and the (+) indicates more water (so less foam is produced). DO NOT max out the knob onto the (-) side otherwise you wont get much foam. You can turn it all the way to the (-) then dial it back a little, this produced a ton of foam.

Great product for a great price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So this thing took some configuring to get the perfect spray. I twisted the knob at the top toward the (-) sign but not all the way. Can't specify exactly to what extend because there aren't any notches. The quality of this product is amazing though because it has some solid metal weight on it. Hope that makes sense. I own the Sun Joe spx4000 and the connector clicks on perfectly with no additional attachments. Would I buy this product again? Yes even after only just two uses I feel like this is something I could see myself using for years as it has cut my wash time down from two hours to about 30 minutes (I pay too much attention to detail).

Made washing my car fun again!
This 'foam cannon' as I like to call it lives up to my expectation and much more.I know now after first use I could have tweaked it more for thicker foam, but pretty much used it as it came from the packaging.I used McGuires Gold Class shampoo and conditioner mixed with water in the Leadrise bottle attached to my pressure washer. After adjusting the width of the spray a bit, I covered my entire SUV in approximately 2 minutes.Waited 5-6 minutes, power rinsed, then towel dried.Voila!Everyone who has seen it has bragged on how clean and new it looks!I've never used one of these before but I can highly recommend this product for its ease of use and effectiveness, seems well constructed/engineered and should last, not to mention the price is right!

Takes some tinkering, but WORKS!
I was debating between this and a more expensive name brand, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with this (once I got it working right). I filled this with Meguire's Gold Class and warm water, shook, and connected it to my pressure washer (a Sunjoe SPX3000).At first, I wasn't getting the snow foam I wanted. I played around with rotating the long-front nozzle and could only get a very wide spray or a narrow stream. It's very touchy. I then rotated the top valve to more 'plus +' and wasn't getting anything but soap water. It wasn't until I counter-intuitively rotated the valve to 'minus -' that I got that rich snow foam. It was a night and day difference, so I'm very happy! It is very satisfying to paint your car with white foam...that probably sounds wrong, but it is what it is.Once I did get the product working properly, it produced that rich, satisfying foam that stays for a while on the car so I can wipe it off with a microfiber mitt. I think it would be great if this came with some simple instructions talking about how to adjust the valves so the product comes out right. Until I figured it out on my own, I was left wondering if I received a broken unit or if it was just a bad product to begin with. It does take some tinkering with to get it working properly. But once you get the settings in the 'zone', it's not hard to keep it there.I bought my pressure washer because it has soap tanks and a foaming nozzle, but quickly learned if you wanted that rich 'snow foam' you'd have to get a foaming nozzle.

Easy 5 stars from me. Works better than expected.
I just tried this foam cannon out. Yes, it's January and it was 40F when I did it but this is exactly the type of weather I bought this to use in. I wanted a quick way to get as much salt and road grime buildup off my car as I could without having to go wait in line and spend a lot of money at the local self-serve car wash. I then can use Optimum No Rinse to wash the car in my warm garage.First off here's my equipment. I have a gas powered Karcher 3200psi 2.5gpm pressure washer. I used Chemical Guys Maxi Suds 2 car wash soap. I think I used too much soap at 4 oz. per car but wow, the results were crazy. As I type this it's been well over an hour since I finished yet there are still suds sitting out in the gutter in front of my house! At first I wasn't getting too many suds and was disappointed but then I turned the dial all the way to the minus setting (seems backwards to me) and the results were amazing. It was like I had covered my car in a thick layer of shaving cream. I did the whole car, let it sit for 10 minutes or so and then used the pressure washer to rinse it all off. It got 95% of the salt/grime off the car. It was clean enough that I skipped the ONR wash step in the garage.I'm very happy with the performance of this thing for the price. Oh yeah, I actually bought this cannon. The company did NOT send one to me for free so unlike a lot of the reviews you see on Amazon now this one is from a real, paying customer.

As Good As The More Expensive Models
Bought this because I was not going to pay $80+ for a big brand foam lance, figured that for $24 I couldn't go wrong, and I was right. There may as well not be any instructions, the single page that came enclosed with the unit was all in Chinese and otherwise useless. I filled the bottom inch or so of the container with some Griots car wash soap, topped it off with water, messed with the mixture and shape of the spray a little, then washed the first car. Initially, I was less than impressed. The soap was thin and barely stayed on the car by the time I got to the other side. Afterwards, I looked at the soap container and noticed that the soap was on the bottom and the water on top. For the second car, I shook the container to mix the soap and water, and that made all the difference in the world. The second time around I was able to cover the car in a thick blanket of foam like I hoped for. These results were achieved with a small gas powered 2200 psi pressure washer.

Better than expected.
I paired this product with my Sun Joe SPX3000 Pressure 2030 PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer.I have to say that I'm very happy with the result. I used the car soap from chemical guys.

Perfect for car washing
Very impressed with the foam production and overall build quality. Produces identical results as much more expensive foam cannons for a much more reasonable price. Make sure to turn it upside down a few times to mix the soap and water otherwise it will all stay at the bottom.
