Aloka My Little Pony Fluttershy Multi-Color LED StarLight, with Remote Control, 8 inch, Color Changing

One of my favorite things I own! She changes colors and all the colors look very nice. You can adjust the brightness, set a timer so she’ll turn off after awhile, make the colors rotate, and dim it so it’s nice to sleep with. It doesn’t illuminate a lot around her, but she’s still just so nice to look at. Well made and high quality if you ask me. She comes with a remote to change the colors. My favorite colors for her are white, pink, and of course, yellow! Great for my Fluttershy collection!

Recently got into MLP. My girlfriend and I watch it together. Like the character fluttershy, and lights so scooped this up. The rgb mixing and color on this light is great! Remote is nice. Just a little tricky if your light is higher than you are but no big deal. Has a night light mode too which is cool. USB or battery. Have it running in USB off my TV. Definately worth it.

It's a very cute light, and it changes colors, just like they say. It will run for a while on just the batteries alone before shutting off to conserve power, or it will run continuously if plugged in via USB. It's bright enough to easily see it in a bright room, but it's meant for decoration, not lighting up your room, so don't expect to use it as a desk lamp. It's certainly enough to see by at night, though, even in sleep mode, so it makes a decent night light.The base alone will automatically go into color cycle mode when turned on. It's not as easy to set a specific color without the remote, but it is possible by pausing the color rotation, and then manually running the color up or down until you get what you want.You can set it to specific colors easily with a push of the button on the remote, or have it cycle through all the colors. The remote also has several functions not found on the base, such as a sleep mode that will dim the light and then keep it on all night, a timer mode that dims the light and then shuts off after 40 minutes, and a white light feature that turns it on to full bright white.Unfortunately, the remote has a very limited range, about 4 feet or less. 3 feet reliably. Sometimes, when it hasn't been used in a while, it'll work for one button push from a longer distance, but then its range is back down to next to nothing. I thought the battery might be low, but it was the same even with a new battery. I also have another remote, from a different character, and it's the same way.Overall, I like it. I wish the base had more buttons so you could access the other features without the remote, and I wish the remote worked from a greater distance, but it's still a very nice light to have.

Love this. The only problem I had was I ordered Fluttershy (my daughter's favorite) and got Pinkiepie (which was ok cause it is my niece's favorite so I gave it to her). Going to try again for a Fluttershy.
