Good level, and level ...
I have just powered it up (9V) and quickly scanned it with a USB stick analyzer. Very pleased to see that it is almost DC - dull red. I want it for a poor-man's tracking generator (nothing at home, or work) for filter construction with SDR stick(s) etc.Showing -25dBm(ish) @ 137MHz (obviously my USB Any is not calibrated to any real standard) but I am sure that it will be plenty good enough for the home construction of various filters for the NESDR I have. I will have to get one of the R&S at work on it.I have not sorted out a screened box for it yet, so it has air around it ar present, given i have powered it up at the lower recomended 9V it does not feel anything more than pleasantly warm. 12V did not change its output level around the 137MHz area - I would have to look at all of the range to judge that fully.There are pads for an output attenuator for level/matching - that just has a 0 Ohm across it at present

SYSYSTEM arbeitet einwandfrei! Rauschen bis ca 1,5GHz (-3dB). Darüber kleinere Rauschamplitude.
Schade, das keine genaueren Daten mitgeliefert werden. Wer kein passendes Equipment hat, kann nicht viel mit der Rauschquelle anfangen. Ein passendes Gehäuse wäre auch schön.Ich setze die Rauschquelle ein um die Bandbreite bei Oszilloskopen zu bestimmen.

Für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen.
Nachdem ich die Rauschquelle erhalten hatte, wurde sie sofort zur Überprüfung an einen Spektrumanalyzer angeschlossen.Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen: Im spezifizierten Bereich beträgt der Rauschpegel i.d.R -20dBm +/- 1,5 dB (Avg-Detektor, RBW3MHz, VBW 28MHz).Die Quelle wird bei längerem Betrieb warm, was bei der Ausgangsleistung über den breiten Bereich nicht verwundert. Hierzu habe ich mir ein passendes Kühlblech gefräst und zudem die Rauschquelle in ein (HF-dichtes) Gehäuse eingebaut. Man kann natürlich auch passende Kühlbleche mit entsprechenden wärmeleitenden Klebepads verwenden.Fazit: Da lohnt sich der Selbstbau nicht. Einwandfreie Ware!
