Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Waterproof Omni-Heat Ii Hiking Shoe

This is probably the best quality winter boot I have ever owned. It is very sturdy, but comfortable. It is waterproof, but not heavy. It provides good support in the soles. The lining on the top is faux shearling and all over the inside it has the heat-reflectling lining that Columbia now uses in their winter jackets. I wore my boots with thin socks and they were very warm. The fit was perfect for my actual size. The other pair I got (one size bigger) also worked well for my child, who now needs bigger shoes than me. There was an extra pair of shoelaces included with the purple boots, in case the owner decided to switch up the colors. We are both very happy with our boots. Highly recommend!

I’ve been wearing these brand of boots for close to a year & now i recently ordered these ones for snow because they’re excellent. They’re true to size, long lasting & very comfortable. I got rid of my athletic shoes because they didn’t provide the support & comfort for my arthritic ankles. Price wise, i feel it’s a better choice compared to non-lasting athletic shoes. Great boots, great investment.I ordered a second pair of the snow omni hot boots in size 9, which are half a size of my normal 8.5 size because i needed the room for the extra thick merino wool socks i wear when temps are below 32 degrees. The extra 1/2 size provides extra room for the socks to feel comfortably without binding toes. If you are planning to wear very thick socks, follow this upward sizing recommended in google, it works great!!!!

Very happy with this purchase. I wear these outside playing with the dog, running the kids to school and errands, my feet stay very warm. Price is good, cute, and comfy.I bought a pair of over priced Merrill boots last year and my feet froze just running to school. So glad I found these Columbia boots.

Compared to my non-winter version of these boots in the same size, they run a little small. I’m sure that’s partially due to the added winter insulation. The outer is pretty stiff though, so I’m not sure that breaking them in will make that much of a difference. For me personally, my first impression is that I think they’re comfortable and warm, but I haven’t hiked in them yet. For reference, I normally wear an 11 in regular shoes, so I size up to 12 in hiking shoes because 11.5 doesn’t exist. I feel like these fit closer to 11.5 than 12, which works for me, but maybe not for someone looking for a true 12.

I was pleasantly surprised how warm these boots are. My feet are always cold and I struggle finding shoes that would keep my feet warm in winter. These definitely do the job! Plus they are comfortable, good looking, and true to size.

Wore these for first time on trip to Alaska and I wore them every day from the time we left on a Thursday until we returned nine days later. They were wonderful, feet didn't hurt, and we did a lot of walking. Walked thru snow and rain and feet stayed dry and warm. Size ran true. Would recommend them.

These boots are amazing! I bought them to wear to Iceland at the end of March. They are extremely comfortable, very waterproof and definitely worth the purchase.

I absolutely love these! Comfortable and attractive. I had purchased 2 diff Columbia waterproof hiking boots. The other one looked huge on my feet. These look amazing. Good support. True to size. I was sooo thrilled when they came with an extra pair of laces in a diff color.
