This is perfect for the front door which faces high winds during storms. I have excellent weather stripping, but this keeps storm wind out.

I was actually surprised that it does help to keep the light out and the quality of it is nice and thick. Not thin nor flimsy. Good price for a good quality .

Once assembled, mine wasn't quite as triangular as the photos on Amazon which featured sharp, defined angles; mine is triangle-ish with a more doughy, rounded shape, kind of like a chubby kid whose mother is still trying to squeeze him into last year's clothes. But the thing does its job keeping out the draft from under my front door, so I can't complain.

Although this product does keep the door stopped and do close the open gap beneath the door (so it indeed works for the intended purpose), the pictures (in the product description) are quite misleading: these are NOT triangular nor sturdy as shown in the pictures.It basically works as a relatively lightweight (but with some friction to keep the door in place) "tubular" bag/pillow. Only the extremes are stitched with 3 vertices, but that's not enough to keep it in a triangular form like shown in the pictures.It might be fine for those just expecting a door stopper, but quite disappointing for the ones expecting an actually triangular gap filler.

These sit no differently than a regular round draft dodger. You can't sew a triangle on the side and say, "look, it's triangular!" The sand inside is not really flush to one side to lay flat. So you end up with a roundish shape, just like every other draft dodger on the market. Very disappointed with this purchase. Price seemed too good to be true, and it was. Returning.

Great draft stopper and door stop. Sand packets inside need to be manipulated upon receipt. Unzip and readjust. Works perfectly and keeps shape.

Love this wedge! It’s the best way to keep the draft from coming through our back door and the triangle shape keeps it in place.
