Great for layered coffee drinks
I got this for my stepdad for Christmas. He loves it. It's too bad I only got him 1, because my mom tells me this is the only mug he wants to drink out of now. He has a nespresso machine and he likes THIS mug because it is clear and he can see the layers.

Most adequate for the price and use
I'd have to agree with one Amazon customer. Not sure how the volume is measured as a 12 ounce cup. Would like to see how PurpleLake did the math, but I have a wonderful, double-walled, insulated 8 ounce cup. Fragile? I see nothing fragile about it. It is lightweight, but the fragility would have to be tested by dropping it on the floor. Don't think I really want to do that. I'm satisfied with the purchase, and if I want more coffee/tea than the 8 ounce cup provides, I simply make a second cup. No big deal for me.
