moderate relief
Not as compressive as I was hoping, they feel a bit like the moisturising gloves you can get, they are snug but I can't actually feel the compression.I ordered a large, I measured 8.4cm, and they fit fine but I did find I had roll down the index and middle finger on my left hand when crocheting as the fingers are quite long and the hook kept getting stuck, yarn also doesn't move easily over the material - just to take into consideration if you need them for crochet/knitting.they have good length over the wrist and I do find them give some support when working/typing, hands and wrists are kept quite warm but fingertips get a little chilly - the warmth from the rest of the hand doesn't seem to circulate to them in the way I would have expected. Not bad for the price (£8.09 when I ordered them) and they do help a little but I bought them for aching hands, if you have arthritis or anything like that it might not be enough.

Cosy, with one caveat
As I'm trying to keep gas usage down I've left my heating lower than I usually would have (16c) and so I bought these to wear indoors to keep my hands warm - especially when using my computer as the mouse hand always gets cold. They are very nice gloves, but I do find the material a little too thick and it does hamper game controller and mouse usage a little. Typing speed has also decreased when wearing. It might be one of those things that improves as the gloves stretch out a bit.Using the measuring guide my palm width was 8.5cm, so I opted for the large size. This fitted well for me.

Bought to keep my hands warm when typing
Most fingerless gloves are impossible to type in because the fabric's too thick, pushing your fingers apart and messing with your touch-typing. These are not being intended as hand warmers so are thinner and don't impeded typing. Naturally they don't keep your hands as warm as other gloves might, but they're better than nothing at all for keeping warm if you want to still type efficiently.

Does the job but possibly by a size up
Firstly I purchased these to keep my hands warm while typing in a cold environment so I can't comment on the pain relief. As gloves to keep hands warm but being able to type they do the job pretty nicely, my only comment would be they are very tight (presumable needed for medical issues) so if buying for my reason maybe consider a size up, otherwise they seem like a nice and useable product so far.
