Aloka Sleepylight Giraffe Children's multi coloured LED Night Light with remote control

We have the rocket version of this lamp for our eldest son which is amazing. Still going strong 4 years on. So we decided to get the giraffe for our newest arrival. Was disappoint that it was missing a mains plug. Managed to use an old now tv stick plug with similar requirements which works fine but annoyed one is not supplied. Would have been 5 star if you got a plug with it.

I love it, but more importantly, baby loves it.We have it near her changing mat and whilst getting her dressed or changed she likes to watch the colours change. Seems expensive for what it is, but I guess you could just click other animals into the base. My little girl gets a bit distressed when dressing her (especially as I am a total novice at changing a babies clothes) - this distracts her so she is relaxed enough for me to get her into vests with no problem.

Smaller than expected, as I couldn't find any product measurements on Amazon or any other stockist sites when I ordered it. Plasticy but nice when it glows all different colours and certainly much nicer than any other night lights that I've seen.

Bought this as a night light for our 2 year old. Living in Sweden there are vast options considering night lights for children. However unlike most swedes, I was not too pleased by the ones offered by the big Swedish furniture company (not to be mentioned by name due to legal aspects).We and our little one love this lamp. The figure seems to be made of a solid plastic material which wont brake falling off the table to the floor. The LED is nicely packed into the base of the lamp, out of the way from the curious hands of children. Also due to its placement, you get a good distribution of light into the figure. There are multiple colors to choose from and each color has 3 light intensities, ranging from moderate to mild, the latter being perfect for a sleeping child. The figure was easy to assemble into the base, no funny business there. The remote control is straight to the point, no explanation needed, just ready to use. Even after leaving the light on all night the plastic figure does not get hot, leaving it fairly safe for children to touch the morning after.Now to the cons:There is a timer function which turns off the light after a period of time. In my opinion this time is too short, perhaps a minute or so. Unfortunately this cannot be changed. The same applies to the the sleep button which lowers brightness automatically, the time span being too short for my liking.All and all; a great night light. Was at first hesitant due to the price, but its totally worth it. Our son loves it, and as the product description says "designed by a parent for parents", rendering a lot of thought into this product.Verdict: great night light, just what we were looking for

Amazing night light. No battaries. Long cable with usb connevtion. Each light has a few settings. Absolutely would buy it again. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent a lot of time looking for a suitable night light for our daughters room. At first we discounted this light due to the cost, but we are glad we changed our minds.Our daughter loves it! Its bright enough to cast a welcoming glow across her room, but not too bright as to keep her awake. Its extremely well made, and due to not using a conventional bulb means if our daughter should touch it she cant be harmed.The only slight issue is it uses a two pin plug so requires an adapter, but this in no way affects the performance of the light.

An amazing light that my daughter loves. Lots of different modes to allow the room to be lighter or darker.

mon fils de 4 ans en a une comme celle ci. il n'aime pas dormir dans le noir, et là il adore car il peut choisir sa couleur avant de se coucher. moi j'aime car je réduis l'intensité apres; ça le rassure d'avoir tjs un peu de lumière.jai acheté en girage pour mon 2ème ( 3 mois), ça permet un léger éclairage pour qd il se réveille la nuit , je peux allumer un peu + fort si besoin de le changer. ou pr le nourrir.bref j'adore cette gamme de veilleuse
