Got this board for $99 for a friend, it's quite shocking how much you get for the price. Maybe the price was too good seeing how it never comes back in stock, which is a big bummer I would purchase more for myself.It has PCIE Gen 5, plenty of M.2 slots, and fits a relatively modern Intel chip inside.The socket is no longer supported by intel but if this was a budget build it would be a killer option.

About the packaging. Some have complained about this not being "sealed". Mine? True, Box, no seal, MB inside, was in one of those anti-static bags, also not sealed in anyway. A little unsettling but, plus side, no "scuffs" or any indications that the item was other than new. ALSO, came with only the tiny "M.2" screws. No actual MB-to-Case screws, cardboard washers, or "stand-offs"... (I guess those only come with the cases these days) If you 'google' this item for review or installation tips, this must be a newer build than the last time anyone posted a (U-tube) review because there are SIGNIFICANT differences, packaging and with the MB itself. Earlier builds had this nice grey-foam-frame around it. mine had only the (similar) foam but it was only a very thin sheet covering the backside of the board. OK, NBD there, as stated the board appeared none the worse for wear. Differences in the MB itself were less pleasing. Mainly # of PCI-e slots. Mine has only 2, the reviews on utube showed 4. The "reinforced" one up high, and the second one, plain black, plus a 3rd full length, and one of those older short, PCI-Express X1. The latter would have been nice for adding USB 3.0 card since this MB only has 2 of those, but, there is the "header" for connecting case usb ports. Also the (4) SATA connectors were different. on mine 2 are "facing up" on the board and 2 more are on the side "facing out", vs all four, together on the side, this is arguably desirable though. So, hopefully this (presumably) newer build has other differences more on the plus-side. Like a newer BIOS version? Won't be sure on that until I can boot it up and SEE inside the bios. NO WHERE on the box or MB does it say what BIOS version it is. Or MFG date. errrr.. the good news is I have a 12th gen i7 for it so I'll be good to hook getting booted up and into the Bios no matter what version it has.Quick note for guys reporting this as "DOA" or won't start or worked for a couple months then died. Gentlemen, WATCH YOUR POWER SUPPLY. Make sure you have the correct wattage PSU for your CPU.EG: My i7 12700K? 550w minimum, 650w Recommended.

Got this to help build my son a PC. Great for the price and so far working great, no issues with installing CPU or other components.

Have used a lot asrock boards with 0 issues. This one i used with my personal build, great board at a great price
