Very effective swimming pool filter
This pump recycles the water in our 14 ft swimming pool very efficiently, especially with the skimmer attached. The suction allows the skimmer accessory effectively clean the surface water, while the pump filters the rest of the water. Regular, weekly washing of the filter will ensure water stays very clear.

Will not clean a hot tub
Contrary to Slippy’s review above, this pump did not work as a hot tub cleaner for us. It is not strong enough to suck up the water.
