Hard to tied to seal the washer
The tread in valve is very tight and hard to close it to seal with washer I end up by adding another gasket to seal the valve , price is very good and quality as well.

Need for 20 gallon RO tanks
These work great on a 20 gallon RO tank, with 3/4 pipe thread.

For British, not US 3/4" garden hose threads!
I purchased this to connect two different office coffeemakers to a filtered water supply. These conform to the British garden hose standard which is 3/4" with 14 threads per inch. It worked great to connect to the Flavia coffeemaker. However, the Keurig coffeemaker uses the US garden hose standard which is 3/4" 11/5 threads per inch. This product is not compatible with the US hose standard. I didn't realize there was a difference until this experience.The thread pitch was not in the description and the one answered question did not help matters either.
