I bought this 2 years ago as an alternative to blinds as my lounge has 4 large windows and it felt like I was sitting in a goldfish bowl when the curtains were open. I loved it so much that I have since applied it to 14 more windows in my house!Its perfect to apply on just the lower half of your windows to give some privacy - you can very easily see out, but others cant see in. And it in no way obstructs the amount of natural daylight that comes through your windows. Obviously, if its dark outside and you have the lights on inside, then people can see in, but that's when you close the curtains anyway so it's not a problem.I have also since ordered additional products direct from Purlfrost to use elsewhere in the house so its fair to say I'm a very satisfied customer. Its really easy to apply (although you do need 2 people!) and 2 years on, it still looks absolutely perfect.Had lots of compliments and now a neighbour down the street who I've never met, has put this exact same design in their windows too. Annoying, but I guess its a compliment to my fantastic taste :o)

We have a house that overlooks the street at the front and have people walking past our lounge windows all the time. I have had net curtains in the past but don't really like the look of them, and after a while they require taking down and cleaning. This film is a great alternative and if applied carefully, looks amazing. Do take your time in measuring, cutting and applying the film, and if you do you will be well rewarded with the results. Great value, and very high quality finish....well worth the money.

I chose this film to cover and lighten the window in a rather dingy utility area. It looks tremendous. This film was only a fraction of the price of others available and from reading the reviews, it seems I chose particularly well. The film do not have a sticky backing but is supplied ready for installation - using the static cling method. (There are a number of very helpful videos on YouTube to guide you). But honestly, apart from making sure you measure carefully, I had no problems at all. It took me about 15 mins in total to fit it to 4 largish panes in a Georgian window. It was only a matter of spraying the slightly soapy water on the panes, sliding the film easily in place and using a squeegee to remove the excess water. Easy, peasy!!Both I and my neighbours are delighted with the finished effect.

Looks good but difficult to use and doesn't stick that well.

I am so happy with my windows now! Instead of blinds or curtains we decided to cover our two side-panels of the front window with this window film. It is a two-person job: one to hold the cut sheet, the other to spray on the soap while pulling off the back layer. Once on the window we could nudge the film into place and squeegee the water out. Sticks as if etched into the glass.The pattern is great, it looks elegant and goes well with the Victorian look of the house. From the inside I can look out but from the outside it is almost impossible to look in, so it gives great privacy while also letting in light and allowing for a street view.Highly recommended. (I did later see on the company's website there are lots more similar patterns to choose from, a lot of them even more wonderful, so if you want choice, for a particular period look for example, check it out before you settle on this pattern)

This was an interesting design. Does the job. But I would have preferred a more delicate square. Very easy to apply and clean

Love the pattern. I was worried about fitting it as it seemed very thin. A long as you follow the instructions, though, its relatively easy to use. Much cheaper than other window films I've looked at. I'd use it again.

This was my eureka moment. I have been looking everywhere for something just like this. This is great. I ordered a small amount to see if I liked it. I do and plan to do my other windows. I wanted something on my windows where I could see out but you could not easily see in. This is it! It's not too fussy and it makes the windows look so much better than the nets I had up. My husband wasn't keen until he saw it and now he loves it. We had put the mirror film on the windows but that depends on how the light is in the room during the day. Not with this. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Great service too.
