I bought this because I had hip surgery and am very glad I got this one. I looked at various types that attach to the toilet seat, but realized before I ordered that those have hard plastic seats. I wanted a cushioned seat. I am also glad I chose this one because my husband could move it for me from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bathroom as needed (once I could climb the stairs) and that would have been problematic if I had ordered the ones that attach to the toilet seat. I also like the adjustability of this seat as I am tall and it was easily adjusted to exactly where I needed it. It ia also very sturdy and reliable when getting on and off which is important after a hip replacement. It's been a few weeks and I am still using it and I may continue to use it simply for the comfort and convenience at night.

Bought this during hip PT and surgeries. Easy on and off the toilet. Easy clean up. Light weight, so easy to move. Assembly was straight forward and simple. Sturdy. If you need some aid in the bathroom like this, highly recommend.So, I've had this several months, and I am taking one star away because of the rubber non-slip leg cover. They aren't that great. Had to replace them with sturdier cane/furniture tips. If you buy this, buy replacements leg tips as well. Otherwise great product.

Perfect solution for my situation. I was able to use it for the bathroom and shower. No issues and I am very happy with my choice.

This product is making a huge difference in my recovery from hip replacement surgery. Getting up from the toilet is the most painful part of this process. Once this product was in place, my life became much easier. I only wish it had been recommended to me last year before back surgery . My brother assembled it for me in about 1/2 hr with the included allen wrench. He found the instructions to be easy to follow and it could be quickly fitted to the toilet. It is plenty sturdy, and I don't need help using the bathroom. It is head and shoulders above the old raised seat only, especially if there is no room or possibility of grab bars. It has been a godsend for me in regaining my strength and independence. If you or a loved one are facing surgery or age related debility, don't hesitate to try this. I only wish I'd been made aware of it sooner.

True to the description. Adjustable height and width. Sturdy and steady. Easy as ABCD to assemble. All pieces marked as A, B, C, or D. Allen wrench includes for screw tightening.

I trusted the illustration with dimensions on the product page, but they are incorrect. With the holes lined up at the minimum width position (for the horizontal bars), and the seat at its lowest raised height (about 20"), the dimension to the outside of the rubber feet is 25-1/2". I have a tight fit situation, so this won't work for me -- and I purchased it based on the dimenstions shown in the illustration. The "min 20" is actually 21 - 1/2". Otherwise, this product seems pretty good. I just wish vendors would take more care in publishing accurate product information. I'll be returning it.
