Bright UV lamp sterilizes just about any surface. I bought it to deal with mites and the smell of dogs. Has a remote control, timer and easy to position for any room. This model does not create ozone which can be extremely corrosive to various metals (like copper tubing) and dangerous to breath for living beings. Room can be occupied right after lamp turns off with no need to ventilate for half an hour.

I have used this several times and I can tell a difference.

Great for keeping dust mites away. Easy to use. Just plug in, place and switch on. Shut the door and it does it's work. Don't mind that burnt hair smell when you come back to the room. It only lasts a few minutes and lets you know your environment is now sterile. Haven't used the remote control. It gives you 30 seconds to leave the room after activating.

Would have given a 5-star except for the initial problems I had to get it operational. Their tech people did get heavily involved to explain how to perform a system circuit reset, and after that it has worked very very well.Been very happy with its functionality and performance. Would definitely recommend.

I don't care what the negative reviews say about this product. This UVC light is the plug. Just received one today. Then used it. On the same day bought a second one. That says a lot for the product. The smell in the room is bacterial decomposition. The more or less of it is how much bacteria has built up in the room. After using the product had to let the house breathe by opening all the windows. It works.

The evidence for its efficacy is the technology. The goals of consumers for this device may be mixed because of expectations and rules about evidence. My experience is a much fresher smell from a carpet in the kitchen of this apartment. It moves easily and the control are easy to use. With a documented mite allergy my dry skin is easily irritated. Reduction in skin irritation is reduced. No routine about skin care was simultaneously changed. Given the power of UV3, one does not need be a germaphobe to benefit from its use.

I liked and chose it for the 55 W power of this UV lamp but, I did not like that, the one I received did not turn on, neither with the ON/OFF switch, nor with the remote control. I had to return the product. The manufacturer must upgrade the QA check before shipping out to clients. Thank you !

We live in a home that's over 100 years old. The basement has had a musty mildew smell for years. After running this 3-4 times, the smell is GONE. I can actually stand to work in the basement now! Also seems to have helped with the crickets. I love the fresh smell so much that I'm thinking of buying some smaller ones for the upstairs bedrooms to help with dust mites.
