Stabbed my self in the hand with a vary sharp (new) 1/2 inch drill bit. Used one to self stitch my hand. Do you know how hard it is to put stitches in your own hand? Not easy, but I was 1.5hrs one way from any medical. BFE utah. Turned out great, watched some YouTube videos on 1 handed stitches, put 3 stitches in my own hand and they all held well. If you going into the back country exploring and you have the room, I strongly suggest you bring a full trama medical bag. Paid for its self first use.

Great training tool. A great product for people who are preppers that want to know how to do suturing if the need arises.

I bought these for my first aid kit. I have not used them at this point. So I do not know if they are easy to use or not. I like the different weights of thread. They come with needles. I am glad to have them if and when I need them.
