QILIMA Reinforced Water Activated Gummed Kraft Paper Tape, for Heavy Duty Secure Packing Shipping(5 Pack 1.88 inch x 164 ft)

I should read more carefully as I did not realize that this required water to activate. I'm used to newer tapes that are peel and stick, but have this so need to use it. I got a spray bottle since I don't have the fun water dispenser made for this kind of tape and found that with a few attempts it worked pretty well. I held the tape up and sprayed from top to bottom to get the water pretty consistently across the full strip. Then I flipped it over and applied it firmly on the box, rubbing gently from end to end. It does take a few minutes for the glue to fully adhere and several hours for it dry. Once it is dried, it isn't going anywhere. When they say that the box has to be destroyed to get it off, that is fairly accurate. I am glad that I gave it a try and while it is a bit more involved than standard brown tape, it is great for holding the bottom of heavier loads.
