Magnetic A-Z Letters x 26. Ideal for use on Wipe Clean Boards or Fridge etc (not included)

I am actually quite gobsmacked at the results of using these letters. My 3 1/2 year old and I have been playing with these letters and the magnetic board for a couple of weeks now and he has gone from knowing a couple of letters to knowing his entire alphabet and being able to spell out his name and a few basic words. I'd like to point out that my son isn't (how do I put this?) overly bright. It takes him a while for things to compute but because he has been very eager to play with these letters and he's had fun making them stick to the board and moving them around it's been a resounding success. Clearly what works for one child doesn't necessarily work for another but in my case I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome.Please note however that there is only one of each letter per packet. We've had to borrow a few dodgy looking vowels from the fridge door to make up some words. I think I may put in another order.

Thicker and sturdier than expected. Working well for homeschooling

Fine if you just want the set for learning the alphabet, but positioning and spacing of the letters inappropriate for word-building (in my opinion as a literacy and dyslexia tutor): the spacing between the letters is too great for word-building and letters with ascenders like q, j, p, g and y do not sit in correct position alongside vowels etc when tiles are sat side by side.For alphabet use, seems to be a useful resource for children over 3 years.

I needed magnetic letters for my lessons online and we were not allowed back in school . These have been a godsend!

I have bought two packs of these, to go with a large magnetic board (also from Amazon) for my 5 year old son to practice his basic spelling, rather than writing, because at this age he would be concentrating more on the writing than the formation of the word itself.Would recommend these letters, as easy for his little fingers to pick up and move about.My only reservation is that Y/Z are together and not separate letters.

These letters will help my 4 year old granddaughter to identify letters before she starts school.

A great learning/ teaching tool for pre readers and reluctant readers.
