Reliable and Durable water level sensor
Purchased RisingLink Smart Water Level Monitor in Dec of 2023 and the product is still functioning perfectly. It has been positioned outside, unprotected from the weather (sun and rain) the entire time. The product is durable and it has not leaked. We use it to monitor an overflow/catch basin for our pool to ensure that the water level does not drop too much. The float has been submerged for years and shows no signs of corrosion or wear. It does have an antiquated initial set-up process (it is not plug and play), but the steps are not difficult to follow, and the step-by-step process outlined in the manual is written clearly (it takes less than 5 min). I have repeatedly tested the device to ensure that it is working properly - each time I get a text and email alerting me and then another to cancel the alert when I reset the float (it also gives the battery level of the device which is helpful).

Worth Every Penny
Used to monitor water level in a sump pit. Worked flawlessly when the sump pump didn't start, and the pit started to fill with water. The float monitor triggered an alert to all four contacts. I had set the monitor low enough to have time to react and take corrective action well before the basement would start to flood.Risinglink support team is knowledgeable and prompt. The team was helpful when I was installing the device to fit my particular application and confirming that the Risinglink had sent an alarm. (Wasn't sure as it was the first alarm I have received.) Risinglink support is the gold standard.I mounted the device in a junction box and mounted the junction box outside on the foundation. The device has weathered a hot summer and a snowy, below zero winter in New Hampshire. Battery life seems more than adequate. Wi-Fi connection hasn't failed.

Reliable and easy to install
I’m using the Risinglink Smart Water Level Monitor to assist me in maintaining a proper water level in my hot tub during the winter months. I have an intermittent slow leak in the hot tub that can cause the water level to drop unexpectedly. When the water level drops, the flow switch is activated, and the heater is disabled for safety. Obviously if this problem is not corrected then the hot tub is at risk for freeze damage. The water level monitor has enabled me to confidently manage this issue by giving me text and email alerts whenever a low water condition occurs. Installation was simple and took approximately 10 minutes. The included instructions were easy to understand.I rarely submit product reviews but I’m very pleased with my Risinglink Smart Water Level Monitor.

Good high water alarm.
This is a great little device that comes in handy for detecting high water levels. I’ve used it for 3 months now. It’s easy to set up and use in about 10 minutes. I tested it a few times by dipping it in water and it almost instantly notifies me via text message and email that the water is too high. You can set up how you want to be notified during the installation process. When I remove it from the water it sends a text message and email telling me the alert has been canceled. So it works great but I only gave it 4 stars because the product would be better if it could be controlled by an app. With a phone app you could turn the unit on and off and you could see the battery life. As it is you just have to wait for it to run out of battery and test it just to know the battery is dead. I’d rather replace the battery when I know it’s down to 10%. Other than that it’s easy to set up and it does what it’s supposed to do.

As advertised; simple and effective
We are on a well system and have a storage tank in our basement.Twice now we have had a system failure that we didn’t know about until the water tank ran out. There’s no way to know unless you want to go check on your water every day in the basement.Having the well pump or something else go out isn’t the end of the world *if you know about it before the water runs out*, but if you’re suddenly out of water and the washing machine and dishwasher were running, and you just got done exercising and you need a shower, and you have a house full of guests that need to use the bathroom…it’s pretty inconvenient. I know from experience! This unit is extremely simple; you follow the direction to connect to your phone and set it up with your email and phone numbers (up to 2 each). Then you dangle the sensor down into the water at the level you want the alert to trigger. You configure it first for high or low alerts, depending on your application. Then, you secure the control box and you’re done. Quick and easy.I tested mine by running the water down and sure enough, when the water hit about 100 gallons left, I got texts and emails lighting me up letting me know. When the water level was restored I got a notification too.According to the manual I will get a low battery alert at that time as well. It’s perfect. As long as it lasts, this was a great purchase that will avoid any unforeseen water outages.

Eats batteries
I was going thru 3 AAA batteries a week even though I show very good wifi signal next to the product. I threw it away and replaced it with a plug in monitor with battery backup.
