Reasonably well-made. I bought it to use as a fun, "psychological gimmick" while watching Sherlock solve unsolvable mysteries. I do wear it in public, but I choose my occasions carefully. Don't regret buying it.

First hat i ordered was delivered to wrong address. But they made it super easy for refund. Then I read the reviews saying it runs small. Measure your head in cm and that's your size. But I recommend adding 1 or 2 cm when buying. My head measures 59, but the closest size available was 61 and it fits prefect.

I bought this after I was cast as Sherlock Holmes in a local theatre production. It is a "real" hat, not just a costume piece. It's well lined, warm, and well-made. It also looks good and is shipped in such a way that the cap retains its roundness on its way to your door.My only quibble would be that I got the 60cm size, which should have fit my 23.5" head perfectly. It is, however, just a little bit smaller than I expected. No big deal, and not enough to return it or mark down the rating. Just something to keep in mind when ordering. 61cm probably would have been perfect.

The deerstalker hat fit perfectly. I thought ot would be heavier material but I was satisfied woth the quality of the hat.

It’s a little snug. I got a 55 because when I measured my head, it was 55. Wearing the hat more than an hour causes a bit of a headache, I would recommend ordering a size larger. Worked excellent for my Sherlock costume.

I wear this out often. I get many looks, especially when I put the ear flaps down, but they are just jealous that they can’t pull off a great hat like me. Quality item and very warm when covering my ears. It has an uncanny ability to help me hone in on where I keep placing my keys.
